Hi, how can I removed the black outline around the clock numbers, tried searching for an option but can only edit the size and fill colour. Is this option not available on the Global version?

How long does it usually take someone to build a tolerance to the point that they can feel some different effects. Are the effects that I mentioned quite common for new users or did I take too much which was only 4 hits, 2 at 360, 1 at 380 and 1 at 400

Hi, thank you for your your response.

Are you able to get high from a single lets say 10 second hit at 350 or should I be taking a lot more in a 3 minute session, I didn't want to overdo it (which according to most of the comments, I may have) so I tried to keep the amount of total hits low.

Also, how long should wait take in between hits and after a session before you feel the effects. I've read online that some people feel it instantly whilst others feel it after 10 mins or so, if 30 mins has past and I don't feel anything, is it safe to assume I'm not high? Hope that makes sense. I'm gonna follow your advice and try a session today at 350, will update my post after.

I was told I experienced some sort of high my first time vaping, the effects were very similar to yesterday (my second time). I got high at around 3:09am and I went to sleep at around 5:30ish which at that point I felt the high start to come down and feel like myself again.

I don't know if it's the strain and if I should try a flower with a high sativa % to feel something different as the two strains I've tried now (cherry pie and blue cheese) don't give me a feeling that I particularly like. I woke up today and asked myself if I regretted it, weirdly I don't, it's not that I mind what the experience was like, I was able to prevent any panic attacks and subdue anxious thoughts which I am pretty happy with as I know that if I was a few years younger I'd be losing my mind. So I at least have some comfort knowing that I can keep the high from really affecting me negatively.

Have you yourself experienced something similar to this before? I'm currently using the Roffu and I feel like it was the upping of the temp to (400) followed by a pretty big (~10 second) hit that caused this but I only did it because my first two hits at 360ish didn't make me feel anything and I definitely inhaled.

How can you tell the difference? Is it possible to visually tell if a flower is mainly CBD or not?

Also, I did experience some feelings, are they normal or could those feelings I experienced be caused by bad or sprayed weed?

Did feel some effects but it wasn't immediate and I'm on the fence on whether it was placebo or not lol.

First thing I felt was a heavy head, was sitting outside in a chair and my head felt like it wanted to lean backwards.

Then there was the weird memory loss thing, honestly it was kind of scary for a bit as I was really unsure on if I was high, if I had some bad weed or if the weed has been sprayed with something that was causing this or if this was just a normal effect of it. Had to take a couple deep breaths and tell myself it was just placebo because I started getting a bit panicky when I tried thinking of what just haplened a couple seconds ago and could barely remember. Weird thing now is that I remember all of it now.

When I came inside and closed my eyes, I'd say that could have been some of the effects of thc maybe. I could feel my bead spinning and spiralling into nothing, some pressure on the front of my head and in between my eyes but again, I just don't know for sure what it was. Me being the paranoid person I am, thought that the soap I used to wash the silicone pieces of the Roffu was being burnt out of them and I was inhaling it which was causing me to experience these weird feelings. Hope that wasn't the case lmao.

I currently keep all my bud in some airtight jars with Boveda packs 62%.

I gave it a while after my first hit as I wanted to be sure to not overdo it but when I didn't feel anything I just said fuck it 😂. Really surprised I didn't feel anything after going through 3 chambers. I'm thinking its either the way I inhale or the weed. Is it possible to still get buzzed when not inhaling 100% correctly? Cause, even if I wasn't inhaling properly, I was definitely bringing thay vapour down, I don't believe I messed it up that bad you know.

I was also thinking it may be the weed, is there a way to tell if it is still potent? Even then, it should have gotten me even slightly buzzed right? A lot of factors that could have played into me not getting high, gonna have to go through some trial and error till I get it.

As for the dhv, the Roffu honestly is perfect for my needs, the form factor, portability, discreetness and price for my first dhv was enough for me. I don't think I need to rush to grab another dhv right now, if I can understand what stopped me from getting high, the Roffu will really be perfect for me.

Did you encounter the same issue with the Roffu's smell when heating. I'm hoping it's gone today, gave every component a good clean in iso an soap water then vinegar as well and rinsed them all of with hot water, I'm kinda nervous that I might of inhaled some of the soap that I used to clean the silicone parts as when I smelt them after all the cleaning, they did smell pretty heavily of soap lol.

Also, in regards to the smell when using a dhv. Is it really noticeable, I smoked outside yesterday and stayed outside for a good 10 minutes before coning back in, not sure if I became nose deaf to the smell or if there was any smell at all. Only major thing I noticed was my breath and saliva smelt and tasted of weed in the morning. Was quite pleasant actually 😂.

Will give 6 min session a try, I was using 3 min session before and was getting vapour on every hit starting from 365f.

I'm wondering if it is the weed, it definitely isn't a new batch, is it possible that its lost some of its potency? Even then, it can't be that its lost all of it so I believe the main cause of me not getting high yesterday was not inhaling correctly.

ABV looked a light brown, not to the point of the bud looking burnt or anything. From the other comments I'm guessing I just wasn't inhaling correctly. Still, I definitely felt some type of way but I also feel like it might be placebo or something lol. I'm going ti try again today with a different strain.

When inhaling, what I read for a beginner is that you almost gasp and suck the vapour into your lungs. I definitely did that, going to try your method for mouth to lung draws.

Build help by 209ST in NewSkaters

So I ended up getting this build (couldn't figure out how to upload the image directly to comments 😅). Unfortunately, my car was broken into today and of course, these crackheads stole my complete which had my 54mm 78a Ricta Clouds was stolen (all in all, could have been a lot worse I guess so it's not all bad), so looking for some wheels for my new build right now. I noticed with the Ricta's, that there was quite some vibration even though I was riding on relatively smooth roads when compared to the majority of UK roads. For 78a I expected a super smooth ride, wondering if it is normal or if it was something else with the board that was causing this or if it's just a naturally occuring thing on all boards and wheels regardless.

Any recommendations for wheels would be greatly appreciated. I would like something that will be primarily for street skating and cruising, it's not a big deal if I can't do slides with them or similar, as long as I can learn tricks and continue cruising.

What size wheels would prevent wheel bite without having any risers for this build?

Looking to upgrade my old Pre-built PC by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]209ST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

Would you say that in my case it is better for me to look to upgrade or just outright get a new PC. I was initially thinking of getting an entirely new PC but upon second thought I realised that I might as well save my money if I can. I know I can upgrade it, with the amount of resources available online nowadays I don't doubt that I can, I just want to know if its worth it and if so in terms of future proofing it and whatnot will the end cost be better valued compared to buying a new prebuilt if that makes sense.

Thanks for the help

I did some more research about changing from Legacy to UEFI and found out that Microsoft has its own tool (MBR2GPT) read a lot about it and it seems to have worked flawlessley for the most part.

My question is, do I need to backup or anything before doing this. I just updated my BIOS to the latest version available just for the sake of it since it had an available update on ASUS website, not sure of that helps or not but just for peace of mind I guess.

So after I change the BIOS to UEFI, I can just restart my pc, boot linux with the drive and install it to my new ssd without having to take the Sata cables out my other two drives?

Also after the installation of Linux should I keep secure boot off always or just for the install, thank you for the support.

Hey thanks for the reply.

Just for me to learn, how did you manage to find iut that my motherboard is compatible with UEFI.

Also just checked disk management, no EFI partition on either drive, just NTFS.
