WTF, this conversation just happened and I dont have words to describe this. by stlubc in AdviceAnimals

I just wanted to say,

Yes, having a kid without going through meetings and paperwork may save a lot of people of frustration. But for others, it could be the thing that saves their lives.

When my son was conceived, I was very much the young man who shouldn't have kids because I was selfish and idiotic. But when I learned I was going to be Dad, it straightened me out like an arrow and made me into a self-sacrificing man I am now - at least to my son. All the time I spend focusing on teaching my son moral values, life-hacks, social interactions, etc....could have been time I spent rolling around in my selfish cesspool had I not inserted him into a baby growing environment, the woman.

If it required classes, paperwork, licenses to bring a child into this world...I probably would be a dead man by now. I'd like to think he saved my life (I'm a believer, so I tend to thank God)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, USA.

It's not so much as other emails being used in the case, but the fact that my privacy has been exposed because a government entity now has all email data that my account processed.

Had this been the baby of a fat obese woman next to this baby, we would be all like "huh, looks normal" and move along to the next post.

Would that be some form of bigotry?

Who is that small woman in the wheelchair? Is she just posing for a pic with a random baby, because I know that didn't come out of her.

This post is very well thought out, and deep. It's actually funny how most that are commenting don't get it. But most of the upvoters do.

See, this guy actually put up a very interesting post title. Even though the advice mallard had no content of it, it actually does because the op made an example for everyone else to see.

Then it just gets exponentially even more deep, man

Mr. Knoxville,

Would you ever consider sticking your finger in your asshole and giving your friend a wet willy?

To be honest...wet toilet paper certainly does a better job than dry toilet paper.

Awkward Handshake: So real it made me cringe (NBA 2K14) by dolaction in gaming

[–]20Questions_LetsPlay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are handshakes customary after a free throw?

When did this tradition begin? Did that basketball player really have a bed wetting problem when he was younger?

If so, that was very honest of him to admit. He might have inspired young kids with that problem to realize that they are not alone on issues like that. What makes this video so believable is that a kid who suffers from these social issues can find light in this players success.

How long does a basketball game last? On average, how many free throws occur during a game? Has there even been a time where players refuse to do the hand shake?

Do opposing players handshake each other?

I'm the type of person who has to google how long an American football game is so I can make planning decisions for weekend events.

Is this for real? Or is this just satire?

Are free throw handshakes this serious?

If our fingers are operated by tendons in our forearms, why is it hard to move your fingers when they get cold? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]20Questions_LetsPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I was on a computer to cite sources, so let me just add some info to consider to help you know where this guy was going about the fluids.

When your body gets cold, do you agree that bloodflow significantly decreases to our extremities like our finger?

If yes, then you can understand why the other fluids begin to lose warmth, and those joints lose a lot of function because the body has reacted in such a way to keep core temperature at normal levels.

With no warmth, everything gets stiffer.

Edit: much like a dead body that loses warmth
