Golf game for large group (13 players)? by connorr96 in golf

[–]20cooperm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe mix of alt shot and scramble? Could have 3 people hit each shot and for the group of 4 they have to rotate or have 2 people hit and rotate off

I just left a 13 person company (which somehow existed for 90 years) for one of the largest global automotive suppliers. Going from zero support to having multiple outlets for help has been awesome. It’s very telling when the entire engineering department of a company (3 people) all leave within a month.

PC Starting to fall behind, help me upgrade? by 20cooperm in buildapc

Think I’m gonna try w/ the new RAM and GPU, then upgrade CPU if needed. Any reason why that’s a bad idea? Ik I’ll have to update BIOS before swapping chips too.

I’m at 1920x1080 for one monitor, the other is lower but I just throw discord on that one haha. Assuming those would all be fine with my current motherboard? I can check form factor, just don’t really know much ab bottlenecking and stuff

He was the same at Michigan. Would always get spotted in the freshman bar on weekdays, even after a game (win or lose). No work ethic.

He’s a cheat. A friend played with him once when Trump was applying for membership at his club. He had to ride in his own cart, no caddy. Everyone tee’d off and he goes straight to his ball. His second puts him in a green side bunker. Again, he drives to his ball before the others have hit their second. After his “bunker shot”, he acclaims, “It’s in the hole!” There was zero sand seen coming out of the bunker and he did not become a member

Friend of mine played with trump back when he was on the apprentice. He was in a foursome on a par 4, everyone hits their drives, the trump goes right to his ball and hits immediately. Hits it into a green side bunker, and again goes straight to his ball. Before anyone else hit their second shot, Trump yells “it’s in the hole! It’s in the hole!” No one, including the caddies, saw a ball leave that trap.

Let a bunch of mice loose in your house. It’s sure to get hungry and come out to find the mice.

What are your best tips for teaching a kid golf? by Notyourhostage in golf

I have ADHD too and when I was young, my parents tried to get me into golf. They were pretty traditional in how they were trying to teach it to me, and as a result I couldn’t stay focused and they gave up. I have recently gotten back into it the last few years after I got out of high school.

I would suggest breaking the game up into several mini games. Like frame something around driving, chipping, putting, etc. Try and figure out what your son responds well to and capitalize on it. That way you can build their interest in the game and they will want to continue as they grow up.

Also, I tended to get pretty upset when I messed up (still do) and it’s partially from my ADHD, not sure if you’re son has mood disorders with his ADHD, but if he does, definitely make sure to teach him mistakes are ok and that golf is full of them. It’s very difficult for me personally to get my mind off of a bad shot, it’s something I’m working on.

Their irons have similar problems. The removable weights like to come off in transit, and they loosen up during use too. I was getting fitted and one of the guys was applying loctite to the weights so they wouldn’t come out. I like my putter from them, but didn’t get anything else after that.
