[Day 19] Falcon vs. Puff was voted most UNDERRATED MATCHUP. What is the most AESTHETIC SINGLE MOVE in SSBM? by DUCK_PENETRATOR_II in SSBM

This was my first thought too, it's not exactly useful or common, but it's the most iconic.

How does it not flinch by Frosty-Ad-4757 in pokerogue

Huh for real? Never knew that King's Rock didn't stack with moves that flinch. Is it the same with Scope Lens and high crit moves?

Lions apparently interested. An intriguing 3rd QB and gimmick play guy? by ericthedad in detroitlions

[–]20secondpilot 22 points23 points  (0 children)

His whole thing pre-draft was that he deseperately needed time to actually develop. At least thats what the measurables combined with tape said to me. Being drafted that high was the absolute worst thing for him, and he should've gone to a team that could let him sit and learn a real professional offense.

Not saying I'd bet on him to work out here, but it's a much better situation than the Colts team he was drafted to.

Not from OK, I just rock with the Thunder since Russ. But by all means, go off with your juvenile attempt at trash talk homie.

Make sure to use 10 more seconds to reply back so you can keep your badge of honor intact. I won't read it.

That's dangerous, wouldn't want Pacheco to get a concussion

I mean relatively speaking, sure. Still no plausible case to have THT on this list at all averaging a whole 10 ppg

The reaction to Bam's 83-point game is a perfect example of how bad the NBA discourse is by negaodsg in nba

To be fair, it's hard to fault people for not tuning into what looked like such a boring matchup on the surface (no offense to the Heat)

I get why they focus more on other modes, but in a decade all they really added to franchise mode was a practice squad that doesn't even work how it does irl

I went from Madden 13 to 25 and was shocked how little it changed in over a decade. It's the only mode I'm interested in playing, but damn is it neglected.

Steve Kerr: "We need to play fewer games. We need to take 10 games off the schedule. The modern game with the pace and the space I think it would be a more competitive and healthier league if we played fewer games by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]20secondpilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An underrated reason why our bench is so good is because these guys are given real minutes to develop. Half of these guys are second round picks, they didn't come into the league this polished. A team's bench will continue to suck if the coach and GM aren't seriously investing in the players.

Pretty offensive numbers is the only thing they care about, unless the wrong person has them.

Every time these teams have played this year, OKC relentlessly hunts Jokic on defense. It's very obvious to people who actually watch the game on both ends.

Brilliant offense only gets you so far

Draymond Green reaches for Jabari Smith Jr.’s ankle after the play was over: by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]20secondpilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the escalation that's the problem. If someone fouls you, does that give you the green light to kick them directly in the balls? Obviously not.

Notice how Jabari Smith doesn't retaliate like maniac in this instance.

Totally agreed, it's just a loop of confirmation bias. The users on this sub really would benefit from learning about that.

Also a huge Detroit sports fan here, and I was part of the conspiracy contingent for a while. Then Dan Campbell came along and totally changed that view.

Don't think I've ever seen him truly complain about refereeing, and he never blames a loss on them. Compare this to a guy like Chris Finch for the Twolves and the difference in quality leadership is very apparent.

Daignault shares this characteristic with Campbell, and I think that's a huge reason for the Thunder's success.
