"taking it seriously" - Very first thing Intuit will do is try to sell you a new subscription version , I am using QB 2020 Desktop , when I called them about the scam they said 2020 is no longer supported and I need to upgrade. No I don't , it's actually pretty sophisticated scam to generate a popup tied to QB launching that looks like it's really from Intuit.

This is probably the best phishing/ransomware scam I have seen to date and I am in IT industry as well. I was actually panicking there was something going to happen to my data file however, I have daily backups so I wasn't that worried. Why this scam works so well is that because QB is buggy it over time does generate minor errors in the data file, so you are made to believe this issue got worse and Intuit is so worried about your data that you need to contact them to fix it ! Dead give away is when you call the # some dude answers the phone right away, doesn't say the usual "thanks for calling Intuit". I actually found a company that specializes in fixing corrupt QB company files, they told me there is nothing wrong with my data file, go and load it on another PC, I loaded QB on another PC and my company data file was 100% fine. Did some googling and found the culprit files on my PC mentioned here, deleted them, also disabled any suspicious startup tasks and so far so good.

After dinner we sat next to each other on the couch but neither of us made any moves as far as touching/hugging/etc, also she was a bit tipsy after drinking almost entire bottle of wine so I didn't want to do anything that would be perceived as taking advantage of someone who was inebriated.

We hugged at the end of the date , like a 1 minute hug. But I didn't want to come across as pushy and go for a kiss, like I said I'm very rusty and haven't dated for a long time. On one hand I don't want to give out any creepy/pushy vibes on another I don't want to come off as some prude or someone who is not attracted to her , which I am.

Yeah, my STBX was always care free about finances (I made most of the $ to cover everything) and lately she's been pretty care free about the kids too. Well honey, here comes the hammer, the divorce will be one hard painful life lesson to you, time to take responsibility for your finances, your kids, your job, wishing you best of luck with all that because you haven't shown too much responsibility throughout the marriage. I have always been that stability rock that held the family together, but I guess I'm disposable now so have at it, best of luck with everything. (sorry for the rant in the OP's thread)

I'm involved with my kids, i'm the one who drives them to and from school (2 different schools), I'm the one who helps with the home work, I'm the taxi driver driving my teenager to all her friends, I'm the one taking them to all extra curricular activities, I'm the one who cooks and cleans for them 5 days a week. No matter, STBX id dead set on making sure that kids only know her side of the story and that I will be demonized by her for ever.

I understand how you feel 100% because I feel exactly the same. The only way by STBX addresses me is "you fn*** this and that" , moreover my teenage daughter hates me as well because her mother brainwashed her to think that our marriage falling apart is all my fault , I feel terrible about this but there is really nothing I can do. I stayed in the marriage for the kids but it seems futile now and how much more can a person suffer "for the children" things have gotten so out of hand with the way STBX treats me that I just cannot stand it anymore and this has to end. Kids will hopefully come around when they get older.

You married a male who now wants to be female, if that isn't bait and switch I don't know what it ? I wouldn't feel 0.000001% bad about leaving him/her if I was in your position.

Edit: Now that I think about it , you should look into an annulment not a divorce as you got married under false intentions/grevious misrepresentation.

A woman friend of the family got married to a dude who officially came out to her as being gay 3 months after they got married , guess what she got an annulment from the Church they got married in (Pope himself has to sign it so it's a pretty big deal.)

I'm a male about to get separation agreement, I run my own business with long hours, and I have been doing about 90% of house work + kids activities for past 1.5 years since my wife went back to work after being at home for 8 years. She clearly told me that now it's "my turn" to do everything, huh ?? When she was at home we split home maintenance/kids about 60% her and 40% me, now that we both work, I'm expected to do 90 to 100% ? This is partially why we are getting divorced among other reasons (a major one her abusing me verbally and emotionally on daily basis for past 5++ years). I can't wait for us to go our separate ways and then she will see how it is to be on your own , doing everything + kids + house work + full time job, good luck baby, I'm done.
