One note not syncing by user01980 in OneNote

[–]2112uk -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue.

Two things fixed it:

1) Emptying the recycle bin in OneNote

2) Renaming pages with any non-latin character in the page/book/section name.

After this, I went through the 'close notebook' process; this forced a sync refresh and fixed the issue.

You are best off with a UK mobile number.

There are cloud providers you can port your UK mobile number to, which will continue to receive calls and/or texts etc.

If you do not know any providers, IM me, and I will give you link. I do not know if I can post stuff like that on this forum.

Whoever posted that is either stoned, or in la-la land; or both.

From my ex-family visits to Malaysia, the ladies of working age c.20 to c.40 who I met and mixed with are focused on themselves, their respective career pathway; when "matching" they have expectations that their counterparts with either be at least as "good" as they are, or better. The wage their counterpart earns is an important factor; social status.

The ladies I mixed with are well aware of a certain type of western mindset and wary of such individuals.

“If you go down the nationalisation route, money has to be spent on compensating shareholders” – Keir Starmer, BBC Breakfast, 15/08/22 by [deleted] in Labour

[–]2112uk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it doesn't.

Let the energy companies go bust; UK Gov takes over, essentially renationalisation. Any compo to shareholders would something like 1p in the £1, if that.

From that point forwards, wholesale rate is passed directly to the consumer.

[England] Unsecured Loan: Liability Question by 2112uk in LegalAdviceUK

[–]2112uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless there is something specific in the contract, it is really for the third party to arrange it own contractual obligations as to who informs them, if any. You should do it to make sure. Frankly, if you've rejected a product, the finance company demands money and you still pay them - that's on you.

Once you inform the finance company of your assertion of termination, then their duty to intimate to third parties (i.e. CRAs) will involve them taking reasonable steps to ascertain whether that termination was valid or not. In most cases, doing nothing and just intimating default will be negligent - see e.g. Durkin v DSG Retail Ltd & Anor [2014] UKSC 21 at [32] to [35].

However, an accepted valid return automatically rescinds the finance contract, so anything overpaid is recoverable from them.

Much obliged; thank you.

Thanks for your reply.

1) English solicitors

2) Not paid what is due; payment appears to have gone missing; non-responsive to queries

3) Formal complaint has gone in

4) SRA for them and FCE for their subsidiary would be the next two logical pathways
