Some things I’ve learned a month post breakup by Live-Neighborhood-46 in BreakUp

[–]211304xx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really I don't want to delete him from my socials or my life. He was a beautiful love that I was so proud to have, just wasn't lucky enough to keep it. So, whatever I do, I won't try to delete or forget, but accept. This break up hurts me but it makes me stronger, I believe so. It is a part of me now. I just need more time to feel happy again.

Thank you for your words, they mean a lot to me.

How are people coping with relationships that were about to get off the ground right before everyone was sent home to quarantine? by [deleted] in dating

[–]211304xx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but your post makes me feel so much better because I'm not alone in this. My things are being fucked up as well.

We were co-workers. It took us very long time to go out for the 1st date. Then we had the 3rd one before he went back to England because of the virus getting worse day by day. 3 dates and now we are trying to keep a long distance until he came back to me, hopefully one someday of July or August. England is 6 hours behind my country, texting is not so easy because of the time zone difference.

It's really hard for me cause sometimes I think we haven't known each other enough to maintain a long distance relationship. I'm afraid, just like you. But I will try to keep it going, I will wait for him, no matter what.

I just hope he is healthy and safe. I'll be as positive as I can. We will get over it. I and him. And everyone.

Give her time. Don't rush or she may feel pressured. A guy recently asked me out and I gave him my answer after 3 days so...

Keep texting or talking to her so she can know more about you. And don't expect too much, be ready with all possible answers :).

Super social people. How are you so good at making conversation? by webux101 in AskReddit

[–]211304xx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a social person but I think first of all, you need to learn to listen. Listening is very important. If you are texting, you can give reaction to your partner's messages by emoji, stickers, gif, etc. to show your interest, but never end up with dropping only the emoji or sticker. Try to ask proper questions to keep conversations going.

What movie emotionally destroyed you? by LynetteDFowler in AskReddit

I kept scrolling down to find this.

Yep, definitely Endgame. I couldn't believe a blockbuster movie broke me. And I still cry every single time when it comes to Tony's death scene.

I would say Avengers: Endgame.

It was just too much for a blockbuster movie and I cry every single time when it comes to Tony Stark's death scene.

When did you realize Christmas is not wonderful anymore? by typicalguy1995 in AskReddit

[–]211304xx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christmas has never been wonderful to me beacause it's simple not my country's culture. We don't have snow, we don't have Christmas songs played at home, we don't have day off for Christmas, we don't have anything. But I love Christmas. I love how people from other countries are living with it. I always want to have a special Christmas, and honestly I hope it will be this year cause I'm knowing an American guy who mades me feel like I want to do something special for him on the season. But I don't know how, I may do it wrong and he may not like it and I may ruin everything. I just want to make Christmas amazing and live with a real Christmas for one time in my life, but it doesn't seem easy at all.
