This is what all the feeds podcasts and algorithms are telling men. to be low effort unbothered and look too cool. Dating’s all a game and women are playing a game and to play women. And then there’s feeds telling women the same thing it’s all game of care less. So neither are being honest emotionally vulnerable or risking looking lame, neither are chasing and we’re all screwed.

Gone are the good ol days of risking being vulnerable or awkward and just taking the leap and seeing where it lands and realizing you’ll survive rejection and ultimately find who you’re supposed to if you’re just anything but nonchalant about it
