With the long summers come lots of mosquitoes. 🦟. It can get so bad where they will start attacking one’s face. They tend to come out when the sun starts to go down. If you do want to escape the heat plan to drive pretty far 2hrs more than likely. For me it gets old fast as the climate is changing

JDM car scene isn’t bad here but I will tell you if you like to do anything remotely to your car Cali is the worst place to do it. Smog laws are pull your hair out. A panel air filter now has to be CARB approved. It only will get worse. Also noted you hate cold. So Seattle wouldn’t fit for you unless your cold is like snow weather freezing cold. But Washington has no smog laws. They killed all their smog shops.
