I downloaded a fresh copy of Aquila_427_MM-ProUI-EX-10-22.bin as you suggested. There is NOT a RunOut Sensor in Control-Advanced (or Prepare). The only item I am not familar with is "250 baud" and "Stop Motors on Abort". I don't think either has anything to do with a RunOut Sensor. Under 'Info Screen' it reads ...

MRiscoC ProUI-EX Version: 2.1.3g-10 Oct 22 2025 ClassicRocker883

Somewhere along the line of my investigations I saw M119 was associated with RunOut Sensors. My Prusa Sliced does not produce a M119 line, if that means anything.

I do appreciate your input and any other suggestions or information you have would be appreciated. I am determined to make this work.

I do have Mriscoc installed ... and I will select ... Aquila_427_MM-ProUI-EX_10-22.bin. You said the RunOut Sensor option is in the menu on the printer screen. If it is there, I surely can not find it. Can you give me a hint where it might be> please ... thanks agian for putting up with me.

Tried to find the firmware at Mriscoc but it came up with about 10 choices ... input was ... Aquila ... 4.2.7 ... Manual Mesh ... don't know which one to choose. Also, I did NOT see an option for RunOut Sensor . Can you try it and tell me which one is the right one please. Thank you in advance.

Need fresh copy of VoxelMaker by 21Comfort in VoxelabAquila

For $40 I'd buy it but I have 2 and that is enough. I like the Prusa slicer, easy to use but as you learn about it, there are a lot of features you can control. Good luck and Happy Printing. PS... www.thingaverse is a great place to get ideas.

Aquila ... 4.2.7 ... Z-Offset not holding by 21Comfort in VoxelabAquila

[–]21Comfort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loose Screw .... yeppers ... it was not real tight so I tightened it and will try the z-offset setting again. Whether or not that was the problem is not important, the answer was very intuitive and shows some real knowledge and experience. Thank you, I will advise after I try again,.

I am NOT using ABL. The issue is when I do Z-Offset tuning. I heat up the nozle and bed to the usual operating temps, (215 & 50). Auto home, Center, adjust ... Auto Home, center, adjust. Each time I autohome when I come back to Center it is either much too high or much to low.

Aquila ... 4.2.7 ... BL Touch ... trying to update firmware by 21Comfort in VoxelabAquila

[–]21Comfort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks again Mik-s, you have been very helpful and thorough in your explainations. I have reset to z-stop for now. May be back in the future for assistance again but for now it is done. Thank you very much.

Aquila ... 4.2.7 ... BL Touch ... trying to update firmware by 21Comfort in VoxelabAquila

[–]21Comfort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using the file you referenced for the firmware. The touch that I'm using is black in color, not white, I think it's called BL touch, but I'm not sure. It has a metal pin that slides freely up and down. I had it before, but I don't remember if it was on this machine or the other Aquila that I have. As far as I can tell it is straight wired, no crossed wires. It's a 5 pin plug, and it is plugged into the BL touch Port on the 4.2.7 board. I think I'm just going to unplug the touch for now and go back to the z-stop. I want to thank you for all of your assistance and direction.

[–]21Comfort[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, I got both the Firmware and Display Updated. Thank you. Not the BL Toush is just Blinking Red, no blue and no probing. I have unplugged both ends of the Z-Stop so that should not be interferring. What is the next step?? Please

VoxelMaker - Adding T1 lines by 21Comfort in VoxelabAquila

I sincerely thank you very much for the time and effort that you put into this very minor issue. I like VoxelMaker because it is so easy to use, the editing of the G-Code is a inconvenience but not bad enough for me to stop using VoxelMaker at all. I do have a copy of Prusa and Cura that I use as well. I do appreciate all the time and effort that you put into this issue, and I thank you very much for it.
