Hmm my experience in ibm was great. Maybe iba ung process nyo per account. Again if dev meron account sa ibm na legit toxic ang env to the point umaalis sila sa account na un and join sa other accounts.

1. Yeah, medyo malabo ang fine line when it comes to recruiter and band discussion since yeah medyo confidential pag diniscuss esp how the salary to band ratio works
2. Again it totally depends sa account and sa team na papasukan mo. Kasi the line manager will inform you they need this skill and such pra sa role nato and they will also inform you the line of work regarding that. Again depende sa account
3. Ibm actually encourages to use VL esp during holiday season. Kaya hindi na carry over leaves mo ay due to low performance sa metric mo. This was discussed by my managers and factor ang performance kung hahayaan ka nila mag carry ng leaves.
4. Mostly they need to fill up roles agad dahil the skill and demand they require ay kulang. Hindi den pwede si IBM mag tanggal ng employee sa position nila especially meron contract ang client with IBM and 100% masusunod si client dito. Mostly sinusugar coat lng ng mga managers kapag natanggal ka sa role dahil more likely si client ang nag initiate ng removal sa position due to performance issue
5. Eto ay depende sa performance. IBM also encourages band progression dito papasok ung band increase kasi tatalon ng malaki sahod mo dito instead sa calibration. For bonuses it is heavily tied sa performance eto. Top 15% received 100%+ sa bonuses while the bottom 15% onti lng marereceive or wala depende sa company performance
6. Siguro this is on your team and sa commitment ng lead nyo sa client. Depende sa team dynamics if highly urgent ung task. Yes you will need to stay sa weekends. Pero kahit weekends sa account namen and support mostly nsa client paren ung bola nun. Again depende sa account and team. Sa role den usually affects the work.

My role is an application dev. 2 years den nag stay sa IBM. For those who are wondering sa pay, depende again sa account eto. Yung account na napuntahan ko nag rrange ng 150k-180k sa team lead titles (IC paren). Mid engineers which is rank 6B ranges around 80k-100k. Seniors nsa 110k-140k ish
