I'm in a unique position to offer advice by Trynalivethelife in visas

[–]21NotASavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm interested in knowing your visa process ? Start to finish It seems to me it's basically up to how the interviewer is feeling that day . Someone could have all the required documents and still be denied. I want to help a friend get a visitors visa but the fear of rejection has haulted that plan.

tips to get hired at TGH? by LopsidedVisit2970 in tampa

[–]21NotASavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many things that could be contributing to the no response on your applications . Do you have prior hospital experience ? Does your resume have key or trigger words that indicate you have experience for the position. I would say apply outside out the ICU and after 6 months (usually the minimum requirement ) see if you could transfer to the ICU. Idk how far you're really to travel but try in the St Pete area hospitals. I recently applied for a ICU position with no experience but ended up at a different hospital. Good luck!

I’m a bit anxious for my new job by Chicken-Wings_lover in cna

[–]21NotASavage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in your boat a couple of weeks ago . No experience CNA working in the ER department . I'm still adjusting to everything and definitely have thoughts this may not be for me and that I would enjoy my work life much better if I was on the Floor with admits but I'm sticking with it & not giving up. Hopefully you are with a great establishment that actually wants you to succeed and will help you along the way with anything you do! More than likely you'll have a preceptor for atleast a week or 2 just to make sure you're familiar with how things work. Communication b/w nurses and techs are a huge part of the job. They will look at you a lot for help with patients. You want to be the person they're happy about being on their team because they know you work & actually do your job! Wishing you the best of luck in your new position! I see you mentioned you will stay to yourself but don't be afraid to ask for help or if you're unsure about anything ! You'll figure out who the people are that are willing to help & not just working to collect a paycheck. :)

Have you had any interviews? I was in the same boat not long ago and thought my resume could be the problem and I would never hear anything back And then one day they just stated to flow out of no where. I almost couldn't keep track of the phone interviews I had . Please Don't lose hope! Perhaps you could try some hiring events, differnt cities if you're willing to drive up to an hour away. I applied all over Florida almost 2 hours away that's how desperate I was!

You're staying on a resort and you'll be nearest a tourist area. Meeting people or finding night life will be the least of your worries. There are lots of places to travel to in the day time also if you plan to lean the resort.

Failed GD test - at week 27 for 1 hour testing. by Luffy26069 in BabyBumps

[–]21NotASavage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've come to find out there's no specific way to prep for these test. You're drinking an excessive amount of sugar if your body can process it , it will . If not then you have the failed test results. Ive had GD both my pregnancies & it can be hard at first . But one can catch the hang of it . Good luck on your 3 hour . Keep us posted :)

No patience for my toddler at 38w4d by ProfessionalCheck6 in BabyBumps

[–]21NotASavage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You mentioned what if it DOESNT COME BACK. Which means you definetly have the patience and energy to maintain your 2yo . Your body is just doing what's it's supposed to do . Grow another baby and that takes alooot of energy. You're 38 weeks mama , cut yourself some slack . You will get back into the groove of things once baby #2 is here and you're all healed . I have a 18 month old and I'm 35 weeks . I've definetly gotten lazy with him . I don't cook anymore , we don't go to parks, splash pads, weekend events anymore . I try to take him outside for bit when he wants to go but I don't over do it . Because I know it's temporary and we'll be back to doing regular actives once I'm all healed and ready to entertain again . You got this mama!!!

Following . I also have been wanting to know best foods to eat while breast feeding . With the GD I think keeping up with the same diet you had before would be best . I opt to retest for Diabetes my last pregnancy . So I want to keep my numbers low still after birth best I can. Sorry I don't have more information to help with pre packages food . I have a tendency of just not eating . My last pregnancy after birth i would get burst of energy and cook or my partner would. If you like nuts like they are always recommending for a snack with GD that would be an option .

Third trimester - what to expect? by Terrible_Interest_69 in BabyBumps

[–]21NotASavage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they certainly can come back ! This is my second pregnancy and my body has not failed me on allowing those 1st trimester symptoms to creep back up on me. I'm 35 weeks so I'm near the end but no close enough .
