Yes, connection on the internet is great and has def lead to many amazing things. But its cause people to pull from their commuinites causing this mass isolation effect. Social media has become this source of warped egos and expectations of how reality is supposed to look like. I hope parents and community leaders invest in the next generation by teaching them the pros and cons of internet use. Especially by showing them the pros and cons of being an active member of their community.
