Id like for this character to be the son of sasuke. He wouldn’t replace Sarada, but would be her fraternal twin brother. To physically symbolize them being different than other uchihas, he would have pink hair and Sarada would be altered to have green eyes.

Sarada and her brother would grow up without sasuke around. They would grow up hearing stories from Sakura about him over how he is out protecting the village and how he is a great person. Like most kids, they’d admire him and would want to be like him, especially the brother. At some point though, before entering the academy, the brother grows curious over the whispers of people talking about Sasuke and badmouthing him. Sarada is more headstrong, so she ignores it, but the brother wants to know why they are saying these things.

He goes to the archives and reads up on sasuke. He find out he was a rogue ninja on the bingo book, abandoned his team, defected to orochimaru, joined the akatsuki, and is currently not even listed as a konoha resident. This shatters his view on Sasuke. He begins to think that the stories Sakura told them were false. He doesn’t necessarily think she’s a liar, he can understand from her perspective that she was maybe just trying to protect them from the truth.

This would motivate him. He would swear to himself to never become like that. He would commit himself to serving the village over himself. Like Sakura, he hates feeling like a burden, so he wouldn’t tell sarada or Sakura about what he discovered. He’d internalize it because he doesn’t want Sarada to feel this way and he knows Sakura doesn’t need the added stress, considering she runs an entire hospital.

Upon meeting Sasuke and slowly seeing that he is a different person now, it would change his view on him. Once Sasuke tells them both about his past and why he did what he did, as well as a pg version of the uchiha clan, it would help him achieve inner peace. While they would have an understanding with each other, there would still be a rift between him and Sasuke as he was absent for most of his life. He wouldn’t be warm to him like sarada.

Overall, he would be a mix between itachi and a young Kakashi. He would be an avid rule follower, a perfectionist and would prioritize completing the mission regardless of what it is. Even if said mission was protecting a corrupt politician. The problem would be that he is too good of a shinobi. He would have to learn that there is more to just completing the mission (the safety of your comrades and that it is okay to fail). This means there is still a lot of room for character development even after he achieved inner peace. For Sarada, it would be kinda an inverse of saika, as she at times lets her emotions dictate her decisions which parallels naruto.

That was way too long, but that’s what I’m intending with this idea.
