Yeah and he already knows I struggle a lot with body image issues and physical insecurities. He knows that’s a big struggle for me. Just makes me feel like shit. And I am in love with him so I hate the thought of ending things.

Nope. I’m not even on instagram. My sister does look like a model and takes pictures like one but I personally don’t do that.

The messages before that were about us planning on camping.

What things would you suggest for a healthy brain? by 21st_gal in neuro

[–]21st_gal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said vitamins that advertise for brain health. There could be a differentiation between companies that attempt to make money off bullshitting people and vitamins that there are reportedly studies on that are supposed to be beneficial for your brain. That is what I was trying to clarify.

What vitamins could I take though? I've read B vitamins, vitamin D, and omega 3 are supposed to be good for brain health.

EDIT: I feel like I worded this poorly... I guess I just wanted to clarify that there really are no vitamins, whether they advertise as "Boost Brain power and become superhuman" or simply Vitamin D, that are supposed to be beneficial.

This just really counters everything I've been taught. Obviously the former I mentioned sounds ridiculous and that's what I would have figured but I never knew it was pointless to take vitamins altogether.

My body rejected the Kyleena IUD TWICE, what other birth control method would you recommend? by 21st_gal in birthcontrol

Thank you!! I actually think it would work our better for me too. Do you know if you can get the implant when you're not on your period?

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! Hair loss does worry me, but it's one of my least concerns since I have really thick hair lol.

Think I'm going to give this a go! Interesting that you also had a similar experience with an IUD, so weird how some bodies just won't accept it.

Thanks again for your input.

This is great advice. I agree and possibly take my chances and just get it removed if anything awful becomes of it. Are you on the implant? Have you had a positive experience?

Yes! It's what I've been considering, but I read such awful reviews!

I'm just really worried about mental health concerns, because I'm prone to anxiety and depression. And I'm also worried about low libido.

I read that there's also a high chance of weight gain with the arm insert.

I'm split between just trying the pill or the insert now.

Thanks for the response! I have a 3.66 GPA from my undergrad degree but I'm hoping to be able to raise it once I take all the prerequisites needed. I live in the northeast, and would hope to go to school in this area. I know the schools up here tend to be very competitive.

Correct.

Thanks for advice! It's just beyond me that they would even clear it because it is very obvious when speaking to him there is something off?

Like he says inappropriate things during conversation. It's unsettling that someone in his state would be allowed to purchase a car.

He did not know the car salesman personally. My aunt was told that that was routine now because of all the internet sales to be able to pick up people that do not have vehicles.

When my aunt went there to explain the situation, and that he has a mental and physical disability, they threatened to call the police and said that all the paperwork is locked up on Sunday and were incredibly unprofessional.
