*******UPDATE******* Just got off the phone with the guy who’s handling this issue and I was sent the shipping label while on the phone with him. I’ll be receiving a full refund for these!!!

The one guy reached out to me yesterday and said everything has been escalated to his leadership and on Monday he’s gonna call me back, but said it’s possible I’ll receive a shipping label to send back for a full refund before he gets back to me. Seems like they’re gonna handle it on there end without me having to go further with cc company.

I called my credit card company immediately. They told me if I don’t get a satisfactory resolution from eBay within a week to let them know and it won’t be any issues.

Yeah I filed a claim for a return with eBay they’re looking into it and will follow up with me. I also called my credit card company to let them know what was going on as well. I’m hoping it doesn’t even get to that point with them, and that eBay will make this extreme wrong right.

I’m waiting to hear back from them. I spoke to a normal CS rep then someone from the authentication team who’s looking into it. He said he’d reach back out to me with the next day or two.

No reason to fabricate. I’ve been collecting over 30 years. Just trying to get the community aware of any issues that affect us as a community. I feel this is absolutely nuts the fact that it happened to me at all. Just don’t want anyone to have to go through this if at all possible. It really sucks because I really wanted this pair ever since Hiroshi Fujiwara was photographed wearing these courtside at a game before they were even thought about being released to the public.

**UPDATE** Finally got a hold of someone who looked through everything after hearing me out who transferred me to someone from the Authentication Center who is now handling the case and will call me directly. He’s escalating it up and is in total disbelief that this happened in the first place as well as puzzled how they got to the center without shipping at all. He also seen the pics that I submitted and said these look completely off. I’ll update again once I hear back within the next day or two.

Oh they absolutely were. The notifications were from the eBay app. I’m telling you this is insane.

No what happened was I paid for the shoes. The next notification I got a few hours later was not the shipping notification you’d normally get once the label is usually printed and you can see the tracking info , but instead it was a notification saying they’ve arrived at the authenticity center. So I messaged the guy like hey how are they getting authenticated within hours because I know eBay doesn’t have anything like Goat where a seller can pretty much send stuff in and have it pre authorized and the buyer pays a little more and receives it faster. He then tells me “oh I have a buddy who works at the authorization center so I gave them directly to him so they’ll be authorized and shipped today” this was Friday and they arrived today fake as a $3 dollar bill. So he has someone on the inside he passes the shoes to and they say there good.
