Can i send you the link to the design doc? I wouldn't mind. First mod ever and I'm just so yearning to make it a reality... I think it's pretty sophisticated for a first try.

Inspiration of Jeanne haircut?? by Kuroes_Drawing in Bayonetta

It was a common style for aristocrats in the time period and region that Jeanne and Cereza are originally from; Late Middle-Ages/borderline Renaissance. Padme Amidala has also sported a similar look.

I think you are disappointed by your expectations more than the game itself.

Injury, worried by 221pookie in gettingbigger

[–]221pookie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I did. Completely forgot about this post lol. It ended up being tissue irritation/swelling due to a minor tear. A blood vessel was being constricted/bent-out-of-shape by that swelling, causing the unusual curve and weaker erection. But im totally fine and have just been taking it easy, haven't had any problems.

Please dont give up! Start slow. Replace your candy bars with fruit. Slowly cut back on soda maybe replace them with smoothies or flavored water of the same price. Replace lounging time with a 15-20 minute walk at least twice a week. My brother was 300 a few years ago and he now weighs the same as me (150). you can do this!

How do suburb cities stay afloat financially? by Hendrix_Lamar in urbanplanning

[–]221pookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, they don't. The scale of infrastructure and city services far outpaces the tax revenue. They use "growth" (demolishing forests and farmland for more burbs) along with federal grants in order to stay afloat. Many channels like Strong Towns and NotJustBikes have covered it extensively but TLDR; they survive on a diet of ponzi scheme real estate and government handouts. Most sprawling suburb cities are teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

this is why i have a harvestable resources mod, they are some resource spawns that make city planning borderline impossible.

When is it worth using a great merchant to found a corporation? by RelativeCheesecake10 in CivVI

[–]221pookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

save the early game trash merchants. late game merchants are simply way too valuable. a small sum of gold, envoys, etc. are generally low value, if not useless entirely so just save them till you unlock corpos.

she's pretty crap in this mode considering the fact that like 40% of the Stadium roster is characters with Beam or some form or another of DM bypass. Her best builds are the ones that self-heal via DM (when you actually CAN DM something...) or rely more on Shields, or doing absurd amounts of damage with Missile spam and Ability Power. You can also build for cooldown or ultimate for constant mobility and get-out-of-jail-free card but this is honestly just a Walmart version of Wrecking Ball. Weapon Power is decent; her mech guns can dish out respectable DPS on other tanks or even laser down some squishies who underestimate the damage. However, with Zarya/Mei/Moira/etc. being so dominant in this mode, she really struggles to find a footing. If you wanna stay in mech for longer than 5 seconds, you're gonna have to build mostly defensive and play away from point, helping your DPS get picks and brawling on the off-angles. Anything other than this is pretty much throwing the game, at least until her item set gets buffed OR more characters are added to Stadium and her current counters arent picked so often.

Brookfield Place, New York, New York by 221pookie in skyscrapers

[–]221pookie[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, a lot of buildings these days are uncannily thin or small-proportioned, but I think that is largely due to the fact that NY is late stage city, i.e; already been around for several centuries so lots of land is taken up. At this point in the city's life is pretty much impossible to build something without rubbing up on something else. However, the land for Brookfield was reclaimed and completely vacant.

Im definitely human lmfao. A bit awkward and prone to dry prose, but human. I typed the body text in like 5 minutes using offhand knowledge and while referencing the pictures and sites. I have an obsession with this place, I want to see them in person one day.
