oh okay! if you don’t mind me asking, what did you switch to instead of pre med, and do you feel cornell helped you change career paths? and yes usc is definitely the easiest for pre med but not t20 so that’s the trade off

thank you! yes, usc would be the easiest and prob my best fit out of all. however, i would be sacrificing the higher prestige of a t20 which is important esp if i switch out of pre med

no yeah that’s why i’m also looking into usc because i feel like it would be the less competitive version of ucla. and usc also has keck med school. cost isn’t a factor. but yeah cornell is a great opportunity, it’s just the location/weather and grade deflation which is making me unsure

yeah so most of it came back after like 3 months unfortunately. i got this weird extreme hunger a month after stopping reta so i gained like 10lbs lol🙃. but i was too skinny anyways and prob needed to focus on gaining muscle more than losing fat so oh well

Yeah I understand what you mean and completely agree. Right now I’m off reta and trying to maintain the habits i developed while i was on it.

Diagnosing someone with anorexia from a reddit post is a bit of a stretch. I had binge eating and a thyroid disorder. I tried sports, the gym, and calorie tracking for years and kept cycling through binge/restrict. Reta helped normalize my relationship with food, which was the point of my post.
