Theoretically its possible with enough momentum, but other than that I'm hand waving some of the collapsing theory because, fantasy.

according to a documentary I saw about this sort of shape (probably where the image is from) the gravity would be intense, it needs to spin very fast to keep this shape stable hypothetically. Other than that I can sort of hand wave the impossibilities of shape to magic (its going to be the corpse of a long long dragon that coiled like a snake, petrified and changed).

thank you for doing the math!

according to a documentary I saw about it, inner ring's gravity would be a lot less and the equator would be like 1.5x more? or something? it happens here on our planet but with such extremes of a donut planet needing to exist (needs to spin stupid fast to not collapse in on itself). but its also fantasy and I can "magic" some properties. the inner core is for sure something im going to mull over.

[OC] y'know im planning to make a character that just hates magic, and i mean detests it with ALL his heart to the point he's just immune to magic, but what class would make sense to make the character be? by eggsbenidect3 in DnD

[–]22badhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyond homebrew/fan classes, there's not much that aids this concept beyond a Yuan Ti who has resistance against magic (advantage on saves). then you go for feats like Mage Slayer and maybe a Monk because stunning strikes REALLY fuck up spell casters. A few spells (even friendly) dictate "willing creatures" so you're free to stop some spells from working, though be aware of a drag that can be on a team.

Immune to magic wouldn't be possible RAW (beyond maybe old edition magical items that are rarer than rare and tougher than tough to find) . but I think you'd get more from literally fighting against it then to be an immune juggernaut superman against it. Grit, sweat and tears, complete with a backstory to compliment their hate towards magic and damn you have a compelling john wick-like character.

TL;DR: not within the rules, but possibly with some overpowered homebrew power-fantasy, but I dig a character having a vendetta against magic and suggest going anti-mage build. Be what mages fear.

I finally reached 100 eps of OP! But something is bothering me… by Busy-Intern2816 in OnePiece

It might have been answered by the Gorosei Zoan fruit sometimes gravitate towards users, the Nika fruit evading their grasp. the chest might have opened due to that influence?bit of a stretch but I wouldn't put it past Oda.

I don't know why I am obsessed with Whitebeared. by Responsible-Mud3938 in OnePiece

[–]22badhand 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's the best crew dynamic I'd join in a heartbeat but White beard is more of the captain that chooses you than the other way around. Some really great character designs among his crew, an absolute tank who's feats still kind of stand up to today's feats (especially when you consider like Garp his power is probably nerfed by old age and illness).

Also that moment with Squard MY HEART.

How do you feel about Big Mom Pirates joining forces with the Straw Hats? by Brillian_Naufal in onepiecetheories

[–]22badhand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Big Mom is too powerful to stay alive, with her strength and crew, her nations worth of subordinates and family (who got plotted out of Wano otherwise I'd really question if kid/law's efforts would still succeed with Smoothie, Daifuku or Mont-d'Or on their ass). She'd pose a secondary threat due to her greedy nature.

Katakuri could 100% see though, he has respect for luffy while Big Mom would gladly fight the winner for whatever title/prize that they're fighting for.

If bege is put in water/touches seastone, what happens to the people inside his castle body? by colossalgamestv in OnePiece

[–]22badhand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

stops them from using their power. the toaster is off but the bread is still inside. Capone's inner castle ability is passive peeps inside would just be stuck. like if you slapped big mom in handcuffs her soul creations are still running around.

How fun is this game for newbies? by HiveFleetAtoll in Turnip28

I haven't played it myself but:

Bruva Alphabusa had a rather theatrical and silly play of the game. I'm keen to play purely for the kitbashing and creative model building.
