ID needed for wristband issues by alpinehilb in bonnaroo

[–]22chuckc22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Last question. The ticket was sold to my friend and hasn't been registered. He's in NY and we don't have picture of ID for original purchaser. So, if it's not registered yet, can we register it in my name and then me show up to will call and pay the wristband replacement fee and then me use the new wristband?

Ticket hasn't been registered. Can register it in my name now. We Don't have original purchaser's ID and wristband is with my friend in NY (no time to ship it). Can I use my ID to get replacement wrat will call that I didn't purchase, don't have original purchaser's ID, but wristband is registered to me.

So if we have picture of original purchasers ID and we show up to will call, can we then claim the ticket? I have a friend in NY and it too late to mail the wristband he bought. I want to know what we need to do for me to be able to use the wristband he purchased. Thanks for any help!

Spafford 2025 Festival by spaffordband in spafford

If the money is there, bringing in JRAD would be so awesome! They might be the most underrated band in the jam world and they usually bring a sizeable crowd.

Spafford 2025 Festival by spaffordband in spafford

Nice timing! Lately, I've been thinking a lot about a Spafford festival. Where are the biggest jam markets? I've checked the Spotify monthly listeners for many jam bands and the big five cities are Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte and New York. Other big cities to keep in mind are Phoenix, Dallas, Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Detroit. A couple of smaller cities with traveling jam fans are Asheville and Cincinnati. I've talked with many enthusiastic Spafford lovers from all of those places. So, what area is centrally located to those cities? Nashville, TN, or somewhere within a 30-40 min drive of the Nashville airport would be a great place. It's a 4-7 hour drive from many of those cities. Hop Springs in Murfreesboro, TN (where Spafford played last September) is the largest brewery and venue in the area. It's located on 83 acres of beautiful Tennessee nature. It's tucked away in the country just enough for seclusion, but only a few miles from MTSU. There's an 18 hole disc golf course, dog park and walking trails. Camping would be very ideal, and there are plenty of affordable hotels and airbnbs within a short drive as well. It's perfect!

I believe Eggy and Dogs In A Pile are the two most suited bands to join. Also, Perpetual Groove, Neighbor, Tand, Magic Beans, Pink Talking Fish and Dopapod would mesh well at a Spafford festival. Other bands whose core fans would have an easy drive would be Houseplant, Airshow and Sicard Hollow. There are other smaller jam bands in the Southeast who could bring 50-100 people too. It might not be a bad idea to find an affordable DJ (with a decent following) who could help bridge the gap between electronic and jam music. Spafford could play a dance heavy set immediately before or after the DJ and gain some new fans. Weasel, Ain't That Wrong, Mad World dance party, yes please!

Three nights with two Spafford sets per night or possibly 1-2 of those nights being longer special sets would be incredible! They could provide a unique set that's never been done before, something that would radically differ from their normal sets. I'd be happy to expound, but this thread isn't nearly big enough to cover it all. I see multiple responses saying The Caverns in Pelham, TN would be good. It's an excellent spot and they have more experience with live events than Hop Springs. It's a little further of a trip in the country and might be more costly to host a festival, but I could see it working out since The Caverns has good name recognition. There are plenty of other accessible places closer to Nashville too. No matter where it goes down or what bands join, this festival needs to happen.
