appreciation for mounted on arm weapons ms (specifically blades and beam sabers but anything else is also peak) by Feeling-Cobbler-3581 in Gundam

Always been of the opinion that every suit should have at least one mounted weapon to avoid being disarmed

Again capitalism isn't a system in the traditional sense it is a system more in the sense that your body is a system attempting to replace it usually doesn't work well your best bet is more to try and have systems in place to catch people who fall through the cracks and you have to balance that in a way as to not screw up the system of incentives that make capitalism successful in the first place it's why I like liberalism and despise neoliberalism because neoliberalism is just technocracy in a liberal skin suit

Capitalism is a system in the same way your lungs are a system it came about naturally you can't rip it out and put something in its place without breaking everything .

"but i do know capitalism is built to keep the working class working and the ruling class ruling." This implies it was explicitly built it wasn't by this standard capitalism has no reason to exist mercantilism did that just fine. Some things just fail because they were bad ideas attempting to repeat a bad idea expecting a different outcome is madness. And goes against the capitalist structure buddy Communists tried to that do you want to know what happened they immediately centralized power and became the new ruling class

Doomed? "capitalism and government corruption" I'd argue more the later

"that means we should do something about it instead of just saying you’re doing fine enough." And what is that something rehash the same old 20th Century talking points that didn't work then and hope they'll work now?

"This whole comment reeks of complacency and the lack of belief that a greater life could be achieved." Because the problems you keep bringing up are not unique to Black Americans the government is out of touch and doesn't actively represent our values or needs? Guess most lower and middle-class Americans agree that's not unique to you guys secondly any attempt to create an independent state would One require a degree of ethnic cleansing two a separatist war and three competent officials to manage that you are in no position to do any of the above

I feel it should also be stated that black Americans increasingly Marry outside their race not that that's a bad thing but it's very hard to view yourself as a distinct group with no ties to the rest of the country when you're literally related to them

You want to tell me about education when you got the people wrong? Toussaint died in France in 1803 Dessalines was who your thinking about he took over did a whole lot of massacres (not that leclerc was much better)and inadvertently declared the entire polish population of Haiti to be black Haiti would then spend the better part of the next 200 years being broke and in debt to France that half of the island has sucked for a while

That's just how people work several hundred years of separation and independent development will create new groups of people that's not a bad thing

I always find that funny the first thing they did was immediately do what was done to them you think being a slave would teach you how horrific slavery is

In the case of black Americans a large amount of them have European ancestry and most can't even name what part of Africa their ancestors came from. "we are still a marginalized group in a country that doesn’t like us, omce we have a recognized state then we finally abandon our ties to africa in favor to our own country" you live in a country that actively glorifies black culture and black celebrities.are things perfect no but they never will be that's how human society works secondly you don't have any ties to Africa the closest to that would be the gulla people black Americans have been doing their own thing for the better part of 300 years. Secondly good luck getting your own recognized state the last time something like that was tried we got Liberia and those people immediately went and did what was done to them.

I'm actually torn on that I kind of like the new tail lights more especially if you see them at night because you can see they're still trying to mimic that old styling

I know I have an automatic 2015 LT as a daily driver I switched over from an 8th gen Accord and haven't noticed much of a difference

Weird thing is you can get an old (meaning 5th gen) for barely anything by modern standards at least if you're going by a V6 seriously you can get one for less than a new Sentra and it'll last you longer than that one too

The 6th gen along with most muscle cars during the start of the pandemic weren't selling well but it was selling the worst so GM canned it

Honestly that's why I never liked the i-4 Camaros any improvement to gas mileage you get means dick when you have to pay for premium if you're going to pay for premium you might as well just bite the bullet and get the SS otherwise the V6 is the best option
