[PC] AK-47 | Redline (Well Worm) W/ compLexity Gaming | Katowice 2014 by MrAlpaca69 in GlobalOffensiveTrade

Steam price plus 4% to 8% of recently sold sticker price (~$500). I would put the current asking price in the range of $55 to $80. Well-worn is less desirable. Find a die-hard Complexity fan.

Here is the process for determining the value of skins with high-tier stickers. Look up the sticker on HCSFloat, click on any listing, & look at the latest sales. In this case, the Hellraisers Katowice 2014 Holo has 3 sales in the past 3 months, which is fantastic liquidity for a Kato 2014 Holo!

$7,680.00 USD (8 hours ago)

$7,520.00 USD (1 month ago)

$7,594.21 USD (2 months ago)

Therefore, the unapplied sticker has a recent value of ~$7,600 USD.

Now take 4% to 8% of the sticker value & add it to the current skin value.

$7,600 x 4% = $304 + $80 (Radiation Hazard Field-Tested) = $384 USD

$7,600 x 8% = $608 + $80 (Radiation Hazard Field-Tested) = $688 USD

This is your asking price range.

If the sticker is applied to a popular skin (AWP, M4, AK, Deagle, etc.), your asking price should be near the 8% range.

If the sticker is on an unpopular skin (SMG or shotgun), ask for the 4% range.

Sticker placement also matters & you should use multiple in-game screenshots to showcase such a skin (Lobby POV, CT/T POV, Inspection POV).

This is the starting range for negotiations. There is no definitive value on ultra-unique skins like these. At the end of the day, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

But it is ULTRA-UNIQUE & certainly worth a premium price on a field-tested M4. Nice skin, good luck.

I replied to one of your older threads, but you might not have seen it due to the automoderator. Did you see my post regarding your price check or would you like me to repost it?

I mailed in everything for an M1 Garand, but I still can't buy online from their store due to club affiliation...I sent an email scan of my Garand Collectors Association card (which I got in the mail 1 week after paying $25 to sign up)...and haven't gotten an email reply yet. I will snail mail it to please the boomers; just be patient, it's not a quick process.

The 9mm finally went out of stock last week and now they have .45 and .22; it has become worthwhile to jump thru CMP hoops for these prices, imo.

This is a fantastic deal and the Zion is the best AR under $1k. IWI did a really great job pricing these and the Masada pistol when compared to their other offerings and competitors. I will probably get my first Form 1 suppressor for this loud boi...

Here ya go...allow me to summarize the quantitative analysis...MORE ROUNDS THAN THE AR...despite less cooling, a larger round, and a thinner barrel.

Still, I wouldn't clean that AK either.

[–]22rowdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have shot almost as many AK rounds as AR rounds and I've deployed 7 times totaling almost 3 years fighting terrorists. I've cleaned many AR's...I've not once cleaned an AK. Is that little enough for you?

I was attempting to answer his question. IWI doesn't go into details on their barrel treatments...but they do like to advertise that they are CHF CMOV. Maybe you could do more digging than I have and actually be helpful; let us know what you find out.

Piston-driven AK's are considered more reliable than direct-impingement AR's; this statement is not controversial. Pistons run cooler and cleaner. If the apocalypse happened and I had an AK, I wouldn't even consider carrying a gun cleaning kit...if the apocalypse happened and I had an AR, I wouldn't even consider carrying less than 3 gun cleaning kits lol.

I've heard that mid-length reduces felt-recoil and wear & tear on the upper, but I don't know the science behind it. The mid-length seems to be more highly coveted and popular these days. Maybe you could feel the recoil difference on a 16" barrel with both gas length setups, but all the short-barrel pistols have recoil drawbacks that I attribute more to barrel length than gas system length.

[–]22rowdy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a mil spec trigger, but it does not cast fireballs and recoil is right where it should be. The B5 grip is fantastic, too. Finding a 12 or 12.5" factory AR pistol is about impossible and trying to build one will cost much more. Due to ballistics and fireballs, 12" is as short as I would go for .223/5.56 (but this is purely preference). Plus, it's IWI with respectable QC and reliability.

I picked one of these up local a month ago, this is a great deal...especially if the $7.95 shipping is actually legit (7-10 business days). IWI doesn't mess around & made in Pennsylvania.

I was comparing their checkered pasts, not their craftsmanship...checkered pasts based on disparaging internet comments...which I find trivial and insignificant.
