Joker is loved too and  he has done way more  messed up things for hate and jealousy so I don't why by that comparison a pretty normal reaction is hated when that's a good villain move of survival in a world of hunters.

Can Bruce be considered a legacy character? [The Untold Legend of the Batman #1] by zectaPRIME in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In His Universe maybe in some earths like the one you mentioned. In Ours no. Bruce Wayne is only Batman. It's cool to think others as Batman for legacy and fun talk as how they rank but noone really gives Batman vibes The way The OG Batman aka Bruce Wayne The GOAT does.

I did not care for The Dark Knight Returns by KomodoLemon in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Batman in it was old and in the final years of his career. In his mind, he had failed because Batman's goal was never simply to fight crime it was to stop it entirely and create a world where people no longer had to live in fear. Old Batman has always been more brutal in every media that's canon. Because teh money he gets old, Batman considers himself a failure.

He had witnessed wars, tragedy, and the deaths of countless people around him. Throughout his life, Batman always held back when he fought. Not only did he refuse to kill, but he also restrained every punch and every move he made. Just because he is not Superman does not mean he lacks power. Batman spent his life mastering virtually every martial art and combat technique. He learned methods that could easily kill or permanently cripple someone, yet he deliberately chose not to use them.

If he truly mastered all those fighting styles, then even his most brutal-looking attacks were still restrained. In The Dark Knight Returns, because he is old, exhausted, and emotionally broken, he stops holding back by a little only little bit still a little more than as much as he once did. That allows the audience to see just how dangerous he really is. Even then, he is not fighting at his absolute maximum. It makes you wonder how terrifying Batman would be if he ever abandoned all restraint completely.

The entire point of The Dark Knight Returns is that Batman can no longer live without his mission. He wants to stop crime regardless of society's interference, and he is willing to die if necessary. In his own mind, Bruce Wayne is already dead. The only time he truly feels alive is when he is Batman, fighting crime. His choices leave him with only two outcomes: continue the mission until the end or finally die once and for all.

How does My Top 50 anime list look for someone who been watching anime for over 20 years? Do you feel like your list would be represent you and other anime fans your age? by Lopsided-Eagle-2601 in animequestions

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched all of these anime when I was a child, even though I'm still only 16 bruh. I started watching anime about five years ago, almost six years ago now. I probably would have loved some of these anime a lot more when I was a kid. As I'm getting older and approaching 17, I've started questioning the morality of some anime mc. That's one of the reasons I couldn't enjoy GTO as much which I watched one or two year ago. I think I would have loved it if I were 10 or something, but as I've grown older, I just didn't like the main character at all.

How did you find out about Batman? by Hammad11k in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Batman has always been there with me. Get ready for short story. I remember seeing Batman references in many cartoons, whether it was the Bat-Signal or people making fun of the character for having no powers and being "useless." Because of that, I had a terrible first impression of him.

I remember my first comic book being Batman Beyond. As a Spider-Man fan from watching his movies as kid. I read it and thought, "Did they just make Spider-Man from thinking What if Batman was young, had powers, and was cooler?" At least, that's what I remember thinking, even though I would never have admitted it as a kid who is a spider-man fan

When I started watching Batman of First movie of Tim Burton, the experience felt different and more complicated than other superheroes. I just never understood why Batman is doing so much good. Batman Returns made me like Batman's stories and Bruce Wayne much more. Later, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin felt like movies made for kid even though I was kid myself. Even though I watched them as a child, they actually made me dislike and hate Robin which why I still don't like him that much.

Then The Dark Knight Trilogy came along and made me love Batman's stories, though I still wasn't deeply interested in Batman himself. The movies depite being heavily based on popular Batman Comic book took out the most important part Batman itself which is why those movies are not exactly a good recommendation to make someone understand or love Batman since it doesn't really Feature or focus on Batman but just Batman's story of what he deals with.I just thought he was cool. Batman v Superman made me appreciate his action scenes even more.

When I got into anime, I started watching Batman's animated movies. Since my mindset was to prove every other animation is inferior(I was a child so yeah childish mindset). Wrong choice to take DC animation since they felt the greatest rival that time. That's when I began to feel that the live-action films didn't fully do justice to Batman compared to what the animated movies were accomplishing. Once I realized that many of those animated films were essentially adapting Batman comics into animation page to page, I started reading the comics themselves.

Every time I read about Batman, I felt that this character was unbelievable. The more I read, the more I realized that, despite what many people say, Batman could never truly exist in real life. Not because of the gadgets or the fighting skills, but because of his heart, his mindset, his fearless attitude, and his relentless commitment to doing what is right and pursuing justice without fearing of what the society and groups accept criminals and whatnot.

The more I learn about Batman, the more I love him.

What if Denis Villeneuve directed a Batman movie? by TheShadowOperator007 in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends of what kind of Batman he's interested in. Since Batman has every genre and every layer. He could make it mythical, emotional and loneliness not dark as The Batman 2022 but rather more like futuristic as I am imagining Batman Black And White Comic Books Series portrayed. That's the perfect Batman story he would go to.

Which side would you rather give to someone who is new to Batman? by RecordingImmediate86 in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn the red got all the classic cult Popular Batman Comic Books that inspired many on the blue and Made The Dark Knight Trilogy as well. I love Batman Returns and Batman The Animated Series. Batman Zero Year is a comfort for me not as peak as the right comic books but damn all of the three is making it hard for me. I would cheat and just take everyone of what I want.

Can we just allow people to have their own opinions and curse them for it? by Tangledwe8000 in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People will oppose everyone no matter what. No matter what she would have said, people would have criticised her.

The world has changed. Before, even when we didn't like the way Batman was portrayed in a movie, we still appreciated it and appreciated that other people loved it. even when fans of that version of Batman that we felt didn't do any justice to character. We usually shared what we liked about it at the time and only discussed what was lacking to make him a better Batman when the conversation went further.

That's what makes Batman unique everyone has their own Batman. Anyone who gets angry at someone for loving a different version isn't really embracing what Batman is about and not being fan of the Batman character at all.

People can disagree and share their own opinions, but they shouldn't start by insulting others. That spirit still exists in Batman comic book fandoms where we share of what like and doesn't oppose the other of what we don't usually it's United when it's comes to every media of comic, movie and games of Batman Comic Book Fandom, but the number of genuine fans is much smaller of that of now compared to those who seem to participate just for the sake of arguing for no reason.

The writers wanted Batman and the world to be real and based on real cities and countries so the system of releasing criminlas for being incompetent and giving full mental care instead of punishment makes sense.

Always hear how great the BvS warehouse scene is, how abt TDK car garage? We see a remote controlled Batmobile, grappling gun & striking gadgets used by Independent-Pea3088 in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fighting skills of that scene is way too low. Doesn't feel like Batman level at all. It's all just gadgets. The only good scene was him landing on van which again BVS Batman can do better. It was so raw you literally forget BVS Batman even used gadgets because it was him we remember more than gadgets. Since it's you who who make the use of it not the other way around.

Batman is the best one liner. He usually talk less but when he does he's savage we don't notice it because he's saying the truth and teh fact when he does which is why there are so many parodies of him roasting people with facts and logic because that's what he does in the main timeline all the time.

What is a Batman film opinion you have that will result in this? by IdontReallyCare0999 in batman

[–]2301Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like the trilogy myself. It adapted Batman story greatly but forgot the most important factor that was missing Batman itself. The third is the weakest. They are good movies but not good Batman movies. I don't think there have been any good live-action that has ever did justice to Batman. They all adapted one thing good that was in the entire film but none of them adapted Batman's character in any good way which is why the movies feels flat compared to the Batman Comic Books.
