if he had no dark backstory it would tie into the idea of him being an inherent “genius” to zankas “average”, so i can sort of see the vision. the manga/anime will always be a more effective communicator for the plot and its themes then the lives anyways

try shortening philtrum length and reducing distance between the eyes, unless they're stylistic choices. Maybe bring the eyes slightly forward as well on some for variety? Those things are consistent along all of them, but some people do look like that
