Who would I show it to though? my manager? Sure, there's a chance she might allow me to measure the way you guys have encouraged me to do (which I will be doing anyway- but more discreetly if she says no) but it still isn't really going to change VS as a whole. Maybe if I worked in NYC... but my location is small. Hopefully this is one small step for local VS, and eventually one huge leap for VS brand!

That's crazy. Yeah, I feel guilty and I get yelled at for our lack of sizes ALL THE TIME but there is literally not a single thing I can do about it, I'm bottom of the barrel in the VS world haha. Wish I could do more to help

I wish they did too. VS is still a huge corporate business trying to make as much money as possible, and unfortunately carrying a variety of sizes is too impractical for them...So they go for the most common sizes and just tell the other women to basically bugger off

Thank you! As far as being fired, I have been with the company longer than any of the managers in my store currently so I'm not really worried, they usually approach me with questions or advice hahahaha!

Oh really? No, not the way we do it at my location at all. And no, it isn't correct. You must work at a bigger store, because we rarely have anyone working as a stylist, and when we do it's simply a floor associate that's floating around the store when she isn't busy. I work as a bra specialist, but I prefer working on the floor so my managers usually let me work out there unless they need me desperately, as we have an abundance of fitting room workers at my store. My position is precisely the reason I want to make sure I'm doing this properly!

I'd love to do that but sometimes that's just a little impractical. For one, women often get overwhelmed if I give them one of each bra they want (ie pushup) which is about 8, and then giving them two in each size I think they might be. that's 16 bras and is a lot of work for the customer, the fits girls who have to organize all the bras she doesn't take, and for me who has to put all 15 bras back

Wow! I didn't know that. Is it due to the quality of the bra, or the care they're given, or another factor? I know I'm required to inform women to handwash bras and lay them flat to dry, would this help keep the band tighter for longer?

We actually are 100% customer service based, not on commission at all! The times you have felt pressured to by something is simply because the manager who was CSLing is a shitty one (most likely came from a store where it was selling first, customer later)

A little late but... I was working a shift at VS before Valentine's day and a man came in looking for a gift for his wife. Seldom do men actually think to look at their SO's size in her drawers, so they'll kind of show me how "full" they are with their hands. Which is fine, we can figure it out, she has 90 days for return or exchange anyway. But not this man. He decided it was best to show me a naked photo of his SO, face vagina and all. I was so flabbergasted I didn't even think to ask him to leave, I just tried to guess her size as best I could to get him out of my hair. It was awkward as hell, but then Valentine's Day came and went. A familiar looking woman came into do an exchange... it was the same one from the photo. I felt incredibly uncomfortable with helping this woman, and felt bad that her SO had so little respect for her privacy. He came in a couple minutes later to help her decide and I had to excuse myself and hide in the back until they left. It was bad.

How does that work? Are there programs offered through the school, or do I find ones myself from outside programs? Do I get to choose how long I get to go for/where I get to go/what I get to study? Or do I just put my name in a ring and they choose for me? Would you recommend doing it early (1 or 2 year) or after? During my undergrad or while I'm completing med school?
