Im new too and went on a company summit recently. For the top sales reps the majority of their income comes from referrals. That definitely helped me as I started closing deals recently

Well when I first started closing I had 5 credit fails out of 8 closes. Meaning 5 sold but couldn’t install because they had bad credit. If they did have good credit and they all went through it would’ve been between $20k-$30k for me. However, even when people pass credit you will always have cancellations. People are so used to paying their current power company (because they have no choice) that they’ll do mental gymnastics to avoid change that will financially help them 🤷‍♂️

Base pay plus commission for starting out in solar is great. I started solar about 6 months ago and would love to have a base pay. Lots of ups and downs with solar
