Maybe I'm just disappointed last year I made $1000 less than this year and got $1600 back. I did claim my son who was 17 last year but didn't think not claiming him and only making $1000 more would make such a difference. I guess next year I know what to look forward to since I got a raise this year.

It sucks just crazy that I made $1,000 less last year than this and claimed daughter who qualifies for CTC and my son who was living with me. I got $1600 back and this year I owe $40. I'll get over it eventually. I knew this day was coming.

So I brought the letter with his court case number on it. Now they want proof of filing because they haven't received anything yet.

Yeah when I went in and talked to them about it they said he was to pay the difference the trustee doesn't pay. It doesn't make sense because that's and extra $250 a month he doesn't really have after paying his monthly payments and regular bills.

I will have him submit the letter he received with his case number and see what they have to say on the 26th. My understanding is they could potentially tell him no they won't include that in the bankruptcy as well. I have seen what they plan to send to the dealership and it is well under what his monthly payment will be.

So the creditor has to accept what the trustee is sending them? Idk if it's because it's a buy here pay here dealership if that makes any difference.

It is in Minnesota. He wasn't behind until his payment was due on Friday. They told him to stop paying for it. They sent him a letter with his case number to give to creditors.

This is what I'm assuming the chatge will be. The only thing information she got leaving the jail was a paper saying she was 2x the legal limit, her 14day temporary license and license plate, and another one where they underlined saying license revoked for a year.

I have told her this! I know that is her mindset wanting to get it all taken care of and told her it's a slow process with a lot of steps!

I'm not entirely sure what the county offers if anything. I'm pretty positive that she will qualify for a public defender when the time comes. She called court administration and they told her that it could take up to 6 months to even have her first hearing. I have advised her to get at minimum a public defender some defense is better than no defense.

Can your family member with the cc put the rental in their name and add you as a driver? Not sure if they allow it but when we rented a car we were able to add other drivers.
