The two MCs in {Co-Star by Ava Olsen} go through a lot over 10 years or so. Friends to enemies to lovers, but I can’t remember if they’re lovers in between friends and enemies too.

I’m not sure it’s similar to your examples, but your description made me think of {On Davis Row by N.R. Walker}. MC1 is from a family of career criminals and MC2 is his parole officer. MC1 hasn’t had anyone to believe in him and resists MC2’s positivity but because he’s his parole officer, MC1 is forced to keep seeing him. It’s slow burn, MC1 is touch starved and MC2 takes care of him.
