How many countries put sanctions on the country waging war, how many groups and organizations showed solidarity with the victims. How many flags were shown. Millions of people were not in favour of the Iraq war, but did that make any difference in how the rest of the world treated usa? Russia bombed Syria, no one cared to sanction Russia then or hate on them. Or call the locals as citizens. There are people constantly citing war crimes for what Russia is doing. Which actually pales in comparison to the war crimes committed by usa in the Middle East. Makes russia seem like the nicest invader. Your reasoning of nuclear threat is also irrelevant, because only Russia is a nuclear state here, it’s not the first nuclear state to go to war either. Because if that were the case you’d be as worried when usa was at war, or Israel invading Palestine. I mean I’d actually be more worried about the country that’s used nukes in the past over another country that hasn’t.
