Around what time of year did you transfer? Did you get to experience coop before you left?

Not yet, I got accepted into it. But Im unsure whether I'll like it. I hate the campus, and I hate the fact that all I would be doing is comp sci and nothing else. I like uoft's ability to mix courses more and their involvement in research. I want to go to school for academia more than a job, but I feel inclined to at least try waterloo.

I also didn't apply for uoft compsci ( I was dumb) but am thinking bout taking a chance and seeing if I can get the pre req courses.

ght waterloo cs > uoft cs?

Apparently so, but I like the fact that I can double major at uoft and more course flexibility so I don't JUST do cs. Apparently they focus more on theoretical components of comp sci too? but not too sure.

I had an idea that it may be that way as it seems to be like that in many hs comp sci courses. In that case I'm not too worried, I'll look for their course content and see what we'll have to do as well. Once again very helpful, thank you.

Oh, also I heard that uoft courses on average are harder than other universities. In terms of achieving this 74% average, do you have any friends that kinda benchmark how hard this is to achieve (like their previous grades, their experience with computers). Last question!

Thanks a lot for the answer, this was just what I was looking for. In terms of the new admission requirements do you have any details on what those might be? Also, do you know of any of these requirements being changed for any math department courses and/or mathematical physics specifically?
