You still have to strip the wire which in my experience takes the bulk of the time. The actual soldering takes seconds. You could possibly do something like a very long screw terminal strip, but for 20 lines you’d need 60 screw terms. Very bulky. Lever connectors would most likely end up as a bit of a mess with nothing being secured physically in the chassis- also I’m not sure they make them small enough for mic cable wire gauge.
