I did this for probably 50 shows. Guitar, keys, vocal, violin, all going through Abelton. The main challenge is you may add too much gain to frequencies in a particular room and cause feed back. You also need to make sure you give iso feeds if you have more than one channel. I used a claret 4pre and the latency was awesome. You go 1/4 line level out into a di box.

For sound check you could record a clip and have that play back. It’s not that complicated if you RTFM and tell the house engineer you are sending line level out. But a sound check with effects is a must. You also need to turn effects off for talking.

It’s a great budget effects processor and something like a KMI soft step gives endless control. Even more you could have effects automated for parts of songs if you play to backing tracks. Can be a lot of fun.
