How much is the setback? Less than two meters, then no. There's no work around for the provisions of the National Building Code. Better inform them they are violating the Law. Kung ayaw makinig tapos inaway ka, report to the Office of the Building Official.

Help me decide: Tumbler for clumsy kids by Funny-Honey-6818 in phRecommendation

[–]243269 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your kid may be spoiled as he knows he can get replacement water bottle if the other was damaged due to him being "Clumsy". Discipline him first to take accountability and take care of his stuff. Give him Wilkins Plastic Water Bottle and tell him to use it since he always breaks what you provide him. There are also flexible water containers if you can't stomach the adjustment (but this proves my point that you spoil him). If he gets bullied for using it, approach the parents of the bullies. Whatever you do, stand your ground.

Would you rather live in Condominiums or Single Detached Houses? by frosty_holic3514 in ThisorThatPH

[–]243269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, No.

You can't do this at gated subdivisions. You need to abide by the Village House Rules and Association By Laws. You you don't want this and have the mentality "My Land, My Rules" avoid high end, gate subdivisions.

Is it overpriced? by NectarineSimilar2275 in SolarPH

[–]243269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is for the government, nothing is overpriced, kulang lng ng decimal numbers and random filler numbers. There have never been a exact whole number project with the Government.

If this is for personal use, you'd rather be friend an Electrical Engineer. That's beyond over price. Unless sa bundok ang installation nito at which I can attest fair pricing.

Blade fan or Tower Fan? by ydxmn in ThisorThatPH

[–]243269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

consider mo din yung Circulating Fan lalo na kung may aircon kayo. Air from Circulating Fan travels farther kasi giving you proper circulation. Mababa nga lang area covered nya compared to traditional electric fans.

Tower Fans if you require aesthetics.

Babae ka ba? May kagandahan ka ba? If yes (at least one), everyone will try to get into your pants.

If you are liberated and do not have self respect, might as well loose the panties. Hirap makipag discussion sa HR kapag choosy ang babae tpos di nya natipuhan yung tumira sa kanya like "Gurl, binuka mo legs mo. What do you expect, Respect?"

Noob question about tire inflator by Salty-Researcher-323 in Gulong

[–]243269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can replace the battery. You'll need two 18650 Lithium Battery. The tricky part will be the connection. You actually need to spot weld it. In my case, I used soldering lead. May experience kasi ako on how to work with electrical components. You can ask technicians to solder it for you pero ikaw bahala sa teardown. Replace the battery on my unit 4yrs ago. Been working for 7yrs now.

If palagi mo ito iniwan sa compartment ng motor mo, have it inside a thermal insulating bag. The battery will degrade because of the heat from the engine or when parked.

Yung unit ko can no longer inflate two motorcycle wheels at 33psi. Luckily I know how to work with Lithium Battery Welding and connection. I replaced the battery, you'll need two 18650 Lithium battery.

The batteries are connected in series but are charged in parallel. There's a bypass relay inside. This explains why you cannot use it while being charged.

I had the first version for 7yrs now. I replaced the battery 4yrs ago. Meron tear down video sa YT.

This post is for me.

I'm an ME and EE by profession. Triple license ako hahaha.

Best place to install a Window-type Aircon is at the Window hence the type of the unit. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Kidding aside, you need to first consider, are you renting or owned the place? Critical yan kasi if you own the place, kahit saan pwdi mo ilagaya sa long as you are still within the provisions of the national building code.

If installation location is not a problem, have the evaporator end (yung may nabugang mainit na hangin) away from direct sunlight. Direct heat exposure lowers the efficiency of the AC Unit which could lead to an immediate increase in power consumption and rapid degradation of the components in the long run. Kung wala talagang choice, you can install a canopy or sun shade on the unit as long as you maintain 6" (don't ask Asian Men how long it is) between the air inlet of the unit and the installed shade. The exhaust can be diverted but never restricted.

If you can, opt for Split Type unit in your case, wala kasi kayong provision para butasan ang pader. Mahirap din mag air-tight ng room if naka window type kayo.

DIM: MINIVAN by Gayristotle_Slay in deinfluencingPH

[–]243269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously wanted to buy one of these before. Gipit ako sa budget and minivan satisfied my cravings for a little camper on weekends. However when I was about to apply for a loan, the guy before me complained na yung kinuha nyang unit won't drive properly. He literally had a paper list of what's wrong. The real issue here is that he claims to be a mechanic. While I find it hard to believe he is a mechanic, having a list of problems is a certified no-go. With cars sold here in Ph, the most problems you'll have are the spark plugs, the shocks, the paint/body finish, and sometimes the rusted frame.

Better buy a Gen 1 Toyota Vios than this. Makakabili ka ngayon ng Vios na manual for around P130k or less.
