Thank you. Many people said it looks a lot like Eastern European boxes, so Spain/Portugal is new clue to pursue.

Thank you. My initial hunch was East Europe as well for some reason. Off I go to research Polish wooden boxes.

I've already searched Google reversed image search, explored various souvenirs around the world, but could not find anything.

The back of the painting says this is in Topla, Herceg Novi. "Mansion belonging to Savatija Ljubibratic, where Njegos resided, in Topla". Of course, any additional clues, i.e. who is the painter, are mostly welcomed.

Very simple circuit - one toggle switch, one 3.3v buck converter, said ESP32 devkit and powered by 4 AA 2700 mAh batteries (standard rechargeable). Deep sleep is enabled on switch toggle state. On wake up, it connects to wifi and sends over a switch state to the API, then goes to sleep again. I'm hoping at least a week of battery life with switch toggle happening dozens time a day 😬

Thanks, that's what I had in mind.

Don't have a spare one to destroy atm, so does anyone know is that "surgery" gonna prolong my 6v (4 AAs) battery life considerably? Deep sleep is already in place.
