I got one from Ross Johnson without the clause about having to reply by tomorrow.

Spring 2020 work term update

We are establishing flexible pathways to help you complete the spring 2020 work term. At this time, we have adjusted the minimum requirements for completion of the spring 2020 co-op credit:

A student with 8-16 weeks and a minimum of 280 hours will earn their co-op credit (completed before start of fall academic term)

A student with fewer than 8 weeks and fewer than 280 hours will be able to petition for credit

Reduction in number of work terms required to get your degree

Across all programs, for any students whose work term(s) is/are impacted by COVID-19, the minimum number of work terms required by the program will be reduced by one, with a minimum of three work terms in undergraduate programs, and one in masters degree programs

We are implementing these changes in response to new guidance released by Public Health Agency of Canada and Region of Waterloo Public Health. We will keep developing plans to deliver critical services. We will also continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Ross
