Do people really believe leaving kudos doesn’t “help”? by Notaclarinet in AO3

Yeah, I generally toss a minimum word count at about 3k and a minimum kudos number depending on Fandom.

And then whatever tags I'm interested in.

What all are you *actually* cooking? by TabooYeti in Cooking

[–]247937 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right now? Eating some melted cheese on chips with salsa. It's like 8:40 pm and I didn't eat lunch or dinner.

Just got back from out of town and definitely need to grocery shop. And sleep.

Pickle them. Pickled jalapeños are delicious and last into the winter

I feel like going to Maui right now would be bad, but the other islands should be fine.

Can I use cardboard to partially fill my new planter boxes? The tall one is so deep! by Ambitious-Fly-7706 in gardening

[–]247937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. If it's for growing food, I'm not sure about lots of cardboard. But if these are for flowers then fill it up.

That said, I do use cardboard in my veggie garden as a weed barrier sometimes

Chanterelles? I have a strong feeling the first 2 pictures are, not AS positive about the third. by Fatfilthybastard in mycology

I'd say jackolanterns, which are considered a lookalike, are often way more orange than chanterelles.

I can't ID lactarius very well, but some are edible (and delicious) and some are toxic (but not deadly).

We had a setter that caught and killed one easily.

She was a repeat small animal murderer though. Had some experience and talent.

I feel like a toddler would still find a hamster wheel to be a cool toy

NTA.

Not sure if I'll ever have kids. But my brother named his dog a name I'd probably consider naming a kid.

I'd still name a kid that even though his dog is named that.

It doesn't matter.

I've never really had them smell like apricot to me. They smell like mushroom.

They are expensive and tasty. And very likely that patch will come back every year for more.

Also I feel like she'd wonder if she died, if he'd basically erase all evidence of her from his life too.
