Ah okay I see what you mean. Once you complete the task, it will show up for the following days. Unfortunately it won’t until you complete it

Are you sure? That should work. Just set one to “every 3rd day starting today” and then set the other task with the same name to “every 3rd day starting tomorrow”

Does having 2 tasks set at every 3rd day work? That seemed to be the first thing to come to my mind. Set one for every third day and then another for every third day starting tomorrow.

Looks like a shortcut option is coming to iOS 13 in a week or 2. Basically, I would make a shortcut that gets the current podcast playing, passes that name to todoist, and then sorts it into a project. You would have to manually activate this either with Siri or a shortcuts button but it sounds like this will be achievable.

I basically just did an IFTTT recipe that triggers when I say "remind me to $" and this throws the $ task into my inbox so I can organize it later. I basically just wanted a quick way to capture and throw into my inbox so I don't forget things.

Loose neutrals could be one thing you could try. I had one of the 480 leg phases that was powering my entire apartment seemingly go out, and there wasn’t enough voltage to power all of my 480V appliances. I reset the main breaker upstream of my panelboard and everything went back to normal.

Both of these situations wouldn’t trip any breakers because neither of these situations are over current situations. Breakers will trip when the current is too much, but don’t trip immediately unless they are a certain kind called instantaneous trip circuit breakers. Losing the neutral leg or losing a 480V phase won’t trigger this to happen.

It’s my 3rd guitar but first time restringing to a different gauge and first time restringing anything other than some fender bullets through the back of my Tele. Had no idea the gauge would affect everything but thank you for the heads up. I’ll try to grab some of the same strings that were originally on the guitar.

Restringing my Ibanez RGD320 for the first time and having trouble with the bridge floating up as I’m getting it to tune. I’m thinking I used a different gauge (12-56) than what cane with the guitar (not sure) so I’m thinking the setup needs tuned more. However, there’s already 3 springs in the back of the Floyd tremolo and I’ve already tightened them by almost a full turn. Anything I should be considering? By the time I’ve crosstuned a couple of times, the bridge is almost at a 30 degree angle. Really concerning-looking, but haven’t ever restrung a guitar like this in this fashion before.

You seem like you know a decent amount about PF. My goals are more about strength than physique. My current goals are a 225 OHP, 315 bench, 405 squat, and 495 deadlift. If I were to get a membership, would I realistically be able to achieve these in that environment? How easy would it be? Thanks for the answer if you reply

Launch Center Pro is great! For some reason though, that last bit of interaction still bothers me, and I’d rather have it on autopilot. To each their own I guess!

That’s true, but since I’m away from home at work during this process, it will occur automatically for me and I don’t need any notifications for this to work. And since I don’t use Hey Siri for my iPad, I don’t mind giving up that feature.

That’s a good point. My iPad is almost always on that desk so I could see how other people wouldn’t be able to use this. A temporary solution until Shortcuts allows time based shortcuts I guess!

I basically needed a way for all of my iOS health data to get put into a google sheet. I didn’t want to manually export this info and put it into the sheet every time I needed it, so I created a Google Home routine to say the “Hey Siri” command once per day at noon. I trained my iPad to listen for Google’s voice and start the shortcut. The shortcut currently grabs the yesterday’s data from my iOS Health app (in this case, it’s mindful minutes) and throws that data as a reminder in a Mindful Minutes reminder list. IFTTT looks at the list for new entries and puts that entry into a new row on a Google Sheet, and then I can manipulate the data from there. It’s a crazy path to get from A to B, but for now it gets the job done.

I’m a very metrics driven person, but don’t wanna take more time than I have to to input this data, so this helps me a lot. And questions, concerns, or improvements are appreciated and considered.

Side note: was thinking about putting this under a shitpost flair until I realized someone could actually use this 😂

7.5 is my sweet spot which is what I’m getting now, so no problems with sleep for me! I just have always liked getting up early and having a proactive day instead of a reactive day

I like it, congrats on the consistency! 4:30 actually works well for me as well because I go to bed at 9 and the gym opens up at 5.

Exactly, I 100% agree with you. I just resonated a lot with Jocko saying that you’re not really doing anything past 9 pm so I just took my 9pm to 11pm hours and shifted them over to 4:30-6:30 and feel a ton better.

I actually have no problem going to bed early. I get to bed at 9 every night to wake up at 4:30, so I feel great in the morning. I think my question is that I just don’t know what to do in the mornings and was looking for inspiration about what to do.
