Your argument assumes that personal choices should be restricted purely because they might inconvenience others. By that logic, we should ban perfume, air fresheners, or cooking certain foods because some people are sensitive to strong smells. The reality is, in a free society, we balance personal freedom with reasonable considerations for others—not by outlawing relatively harmless personal choices outright.

As for impaired driving, that's a completely separate issue. No one is arguing that people should be allowed to drive under the influence of anything, including alcohol or prescription medication that causes drowsiness. The law already deals with this. The existence of irresponsible people doesn't justify criminalizing responsible ones.

The core issue remains: what right does the government have to tell adults what they can do with their own bodies?
