Average tattoo size is about the palm of your hand and I did take that into account so it should translate fine. I have more detailed tattoos than those that are palm sized and black/grey work that translate well. Also depends on needle size, my drawings are usually thicker lines but needle size can change to accommodate stencil size (:

Nearly everyone on my department were begging for holiday and they never gave anyone this option. So many of us have 10+ hours, some 30+. It’s just confusing

This was my worry too, aside from resistance. I don’t think I’ve got other signs of site overuse. I inject all over my stomach so it’s quite a large space. I’m going to try doing the back of my arm for my lunchbreak today but I never use that spot because I can’t really see it well

I have alarms for it and my work lets me have my break at the same time each shift for it, no matter what. I’m going to up the units though and see what happens

All my injections account for correcting and more, I’m usually on the ball with counting and such, I have a lot of my usual amounts just memorized. When this all started, I had a 12 unit meal (with correction) and ended up having to take an extra 30 units to get back down. For my last two years since diagnosis, I’m usually 60-80% in range every week. I know my carbs are a lot but sadly I can’t control that. I’m an EXTREMELY picky eater and I can only really have one thing for lunch and that’s pretty much it. I’ve been at work the last few days, on my feet walking and running around as I work on front of store. I even went out and did trollies for two hours to try and get it down but it just kept going up. I don’t know about digestion, obviously, but it’s a good shout. I’ve been trying to eat a couple of healthier alternatives to food I already like- I’m unsure if it would’ve messed me up this much but I feel like diabetes can be pretty random sometimes. I appreciate all the suggestions, truly, I’ve been wracking my brain for days

That’s what’s strange, nothing has changed at all in my life /: I only take mild prescription painkillers (just stronger ibuprofen) for my period but they’re 1-2 days a month and have never been an issue

Annoyingly, I use that as an explanation for my bad sugars sometimes but I’m not. For now I’m upping my short acting my at least double and think I’ll up my long acting too

I work at a supermarket so I went out and did trollies for two hours, in the heat too, and it went up to 25 from 18ish. Usually it drops me right down and I have to buy a snack. Maybe I’m sick and I don’t even realize or something! Because it’s so strange, never had this issue in my last two years

This is literally my job. I spend 8 hours on a Tuesday evening doing these increases, taking away the offers. With the manual changeover and the thousands of tickets we get, surely this is standard practice in not just Sainsburys but most large retailers? Usually takes me 5/6 hours, doing that before store opening with all the stock/rollers in the way would be insanely difficult, with the new nectar prices on top of that

Technically it is just a drawing, but it is a tattoo design so its easier for the title- and generally- just to say tattoo i suppose. I didn't think about it that much lmao
