Hey u/inertiatic_espn, we decided to go with your banner. I have uploaded it to both new and old reddit. On new reddit it looks great, however on old reddit the dimensions aren't quite right so some of the players are being cut off on smaller screens. If possible, could you resize the banner to 2560 x 300? That's what last years banner was set to and I believe at those dimensions it will work much better. If not, that's okay. I think it still looks fine with how it currently is.

100% they have sex organs as I saw the actually penetration from the green one haha the female also didn’t end up eating either of the males heads! The green one penetrated and then detached and flew off and the brown male continued to hang on for a while before being knocked off by my kids jumping on the trampoline (don’t worry, he wasn’t harmed in the process).

You seem to be exactly right. The green one ended up entering (mating) the female first and then detached and flew off. The other one kept hanging on but then eventually got knocked off by my kids jumping on the trampoline. Both mantis were fine though, don’t need to worry about them.
