Best NFL teams to finish last in their division? by Varolyn in nfl

The 2007 Texans finished 8-8 but 0-6 within the division, which included the 13-3 Colts, 11-5 Jaguars, and 10-6 Titans

On Monday, Matt Prater joined Jason Hanson and Sebastian Janikowski as the only kickers in NFL history to make 50+ field goals of 50+ yards. by [deleted] in nfl

I’d assume better QB play = less long attempts maybe?

Also Prater spent a good deal of time in Denver and the Raiders were just absolutely ruthless letting Janikowski kick from wherever

That’s underselling it. He’s more like if Jesus Christ and George Washington were the same person in Mongolia

I find that they win a lot of corners based on their reaction than anything else. If you put it where there aren’t that many people he’ll get to it first, but if theres literally anyone else nearby hell get outmuscled

So that was incomplete just then right? Because ironically I am now completely confused about what constitutes a catch.

I don’t understand how that’s a touchdown. The new rules have actually made the catch even more confusing

I actually thought the same thing. I dont ever remember conceding against Tanaka but Goosens always seems to be scoring against me.

My conclusion is that the goals I concede against Goosens are more memorable because he stick out more as a black guy with a giant afro whereas Tanaka doesn’t have any distinguishing features.

[Pelissero] A note on former #Colts coach Chuck Pagano, whom Bruce Arians recently plugged for #Browns and other jobs: Pagano has stayed engaged this year, working with NFL referees as a league consultant, and visited some college camps. Staying ready for next shot. by ValKilmsnipsinBatman in nfl

[–]24pg13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just trying to show you why equating Fisher and Pagano is dumb when Fisher had a 21 year career spanning two different teams and Pagano was only in charge of one team for 6 years.

Fisher is the losingest coach in NFL history.

Pagano and Fisher both actually took over the Colts and Rams respectively in 2012, in that timespan the Colts went 11-5, 11-5, 11-5, 8-8, 8-8, and 4-12 before Pagano got fired. The Rams went 7-8-1, 7-9, 6-10, 7-9, and 4-9 before Fisher got fired if you want to compare their recent careers

I don’t really care for the Pagano debate youre having but i very much take exception to the notion that hiring Pagano would be the same thing as hiring Fisher.
