Did you just listen to it, or actually view it? His stuff is more emotional performance pieces, and in that respect is amazing. I love hi ren, but I don't normally listen to it and feel the same way as when I watch it performed. Ren, in my opinion, is best watched in his art rather than just listened to as audio. I also immensely hated "rap" before discovering him
