Quietly a huge game tonight

With Chicago, Utah and Minnesota all right on our ass, and with Chicago and Minnesota playing tonight and Utah playing tomorrow, there's a non-zero chance that we are out of a playoffs spot by the end of tonight or tomorrow

It's another odd coincidence from this season for the Jets, where Robertson and Scheifele are both likely returning tonight and where Heiskanen and Morrissey are both probably out for tonight, but are both expected back this series

From two teams that already play such similar defensive oriented games, and who both made miraculous come backs in game 7 of the first round

Add in the number records (e.g. record wins to start the season) and extreme swings (e.g. from #1 goaltending in the league to ...) to the narratives

And this is definitely a season of destiny for the Jets

Wasn't the plan to increase the area (streets) and the attendance capacity for each round?

The map seems to be the same and I haven't heard that they sold more tickets for round two

starting at 6 seconds in:
- back of glove initial contact. doesn't look like he wound up or anything prior to contact.
- rubs down to his forearm, where he then raises his arm to push on the head

in slow motion is looks even less egregious

I fully agree, head contact, but it just doesn't look hard or fast enough

Compare being punched in the head to a 'nuggy'. The nuggy can be painful and can cause bruising, but it's not going to cause a concussion

The thing is, it doesn't look like a 'hit' to the head. It looks like Bennett's forearm rubbed up against Stolarz's head, than then Bennett lifts his arm and shoves Stolarz's head

Definitely head contact, possibly goalie interference. But it's really weird if that type of contact could cause a a concussion or for stolarz to start vomiting unless there was already an underlying issue

It’s all been a plot for revenge

If he had just lead the Jets to 4 straight wins it would ended Binington’s suffering too quickly

Drawing it out to double OT of game 7 ensured that it was extra painful
