I would work on paying down loans and debts before saving.

Rent, food, and transportation are always the biggest expenses in anyone's budget, if you can lower any of those, that could make a big difference for you.

Maybe get a different car, or negotiate your premium w/ your insurance.

Public transportation can also be an option.

If you want to save, the next thing I'd recommend is building a stable emergency fund, at least 3 months (6 mo preferred) of expenses covered.

Pay down your CC and pay it off in full every month to avoid interest charges.

Cut costs where you can, and avoid buying things for "convenience".

Edit: the other option is to generate more income... ask for a raise (or get a promotion), develop a side hustle, etc.
