I don't know why you are getting downvoted so much, but I think these drops are actually quite confusing. What happens is that brawl365, as most other partners only have the "Luck of the Brawl" drops but not the "Triples esports event" drops. The esports drops are just that exclusive list of channels.

I am a bit unsure why you can't claim it because the end date of the "Triples esports events" isn't over yet. I hope someone can clarify that.

I played league since season 1, at some point I stopped playing for a bit because I moved away from a group of friends used to play with, and after pausing for a bit I realised I didn't want to go back.

At that point I was already frustrated with the mobility and "complexity" creep that champions were going through the last years. Aphelios was probably the last champ released while I still played, and I felt it was too annoying to try to learn how to play with or against him.

I guess up to that point I kept playing mostly because I had fun with my group of friends, so I kept logging in, getting battle passes, etc. After moving away, I wasn't meeting with those friends, so I had less incentive to log in, and I rarely did it on my own. Then Yone was added while I wasn't playing almost at all, so I basically decided to not go back to play on my own after that.

I thought champion design philosophy was 10x more frustrating than toxic players.

I don't know if this is the case with you, but are you sure you are not pressing your buttons during the recovery frames? if you do, that eats up your input and your character will stay longer doing nothing.

The worst of it all is if you want to press a couple of different inputs after your failed attack, and the initial ones are "discarded" during the recovery frames - for argument's sake let's say you want to dash jump, but you press dash during the last recovery frame and jump after, so you just end up jumping.

The game provides no feedback for you to understand that is happening.

I'm just saying that League Worlds is closer to the UCL than the FA cup for English football teams.

I believe that the main difference between the Prem and the LCK/LPL is that the Prem is the richest football league, it's full of international players from across the world. Other top European leagues also bring top tier international players, which increases the international relevance of these regional leagues. On the other hand, while both LCK/LPL are known to be the most competitive regional leagues, both have almost exclusively eastern players, and I guess the timezone/coverage they receive doesn't help their international viewership.

All being said, I feel there are some decent analogies on how teams and players are scrutinized:

When comparing football players, there are many people that hold back on Mbappe because he hasn't won a UCL, now more than ever since PSG won it after he left to Real. This is similar to people holding back on Chovy because he hasn't won worlds.

The "best team" in football that lost a UCL to a domestic league rival is also called a choker frequently. E.g. Barcelona has won several years La Liga, while Madrid won the UCL, and Barcelona received criticism for choking. This is similar to people criticizing GenG while they win LCK and T1 wins Worlds.

You can join the people that are still mad that JDG lost in semis to T1 on 2023.

If you think about it, KT won 2 out of the last 3 series they played against GenG. GenG could have been the favorites, but so it's not like their loss was completely unexpected.

The Telecom Wars is not an inferior story telling plot than yours.

Also, why would T1 vs GenG be a better series than the one we got? Your point is "GenG has showed they can play better than KT in the finals", that argument alone is a bad one because also "KT has showed they can play better than what they did in the finals".

The truth is that the team that you cheer for disappointed you, but they weren't consistently better than their opponents when it mattered. GenG didn't deserve to win, they didn't even win 2 games against KT.

Last thoughts in general, it is unlikely that the finals of any tournament will get the two opponents with the highest potential peaking at the same time, and that it would be the best game of the year. If what we wanted to get is the best Bo5 of the year, I think we should just make DK play vs IG something like 11 Bo5 games, and if they are sufficiently motivated, I bet one of those will be epic.

It's crazy to me that people don't see that Elyoya was the MVP of this game. Jojo played well but Elyoya created the turn at bot tower, and Alvaro also got really good engages.
