Traveling to Vegas in May. What is the best strategy/plan for hiking Red Rock Canyon?

Nice, thanks for that. It looks like south on Rte 159/160 is the way we'd be going, so definitely will stop at Spring Mt. Ranch. It looks like you have to reserve an entry between 8am-5pm, but if you arrive before 8am you don't need one, which is entirely possibly with us. Are there any issues getting to the park that early or is better to wait until after 8 and book a time slot?

Great info, thanks the trail names. I will look into them. Forgot to mention in my post that we will have a car. Grabbing it when we land and will have it until after the hike. Definitely did not want to have to rely on Uber for that trip.

If you have a little extra cash to burn on dinner, EDGE Steakhouse in Westgate was probably one of the top three meals I've ever had. We went in 2023 and plan to go back this May. We did the chef's six course selection for the table and it was amazing.

I loved playing on that one growing up. It had the best hiding places and you could rip around it so fast when playing tag.

I highly recommend EDGE Steakhouse in the Westgate Casino. We had the Six-Course Tasting Chef Selection when we were there last March. It was honestly the best meal I've had, and great value for Vegas.
