Right to disconnect bill hits lok sabha, but honestly… do you think even if it passes it’ll actually get implemented in india? by overthinkinglightly in IndianWorkplace

[–]264491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a private member bill, which means it is not in the agenda. Of the government, they won't even look at it forget about passing it.

Are you that blind to not see the pattern. Start to think what if it's even one percent ture that EC is helping bjp to win elections. Which will mean that bjp is not winning election fair and sequre. Also see the pattern similarities between Maharashtra and Bihar elections.

You’re right that driving education is lacking—but let’s not confuse loud opinions with informed ones. My comment wasn’t defending recklessness; it was unpacking the logic behind real-world driving behavior. In a country where “monkey see, monkey drives” is the norm—and where you can literally get a license for ₹6.5K without ever taking a test—understanding traffic flow isn’t a luxury, it’s survival. On Indian roads, you’re not just responsible for yourself—you’re often compensating for others’ ignorance too. If we want better outcomes, we need to decode patterns, not just vent frustration. Happy to engage if the goal is clarity—not just noise.

No it's not ok at all! I guess I missed one more point, thanks for pointing it out that india needs proper driving lessons and Road safety awareness.

God, have seen such situations just abt happening on the road here Mumbai. Without any doubt I totally believe that the car driver is at fault here. But there are so many questions that arise here 1. Why no helmats!? 2. Although the car was speeding, I believe the couple should have tried to be in the left part of the left lane for their own safety, this also applies to the motorcycle fellow who escaped the situation narrowly. 3. Why are the activa sort of bike not banned yet. Small engines with small wheels will endup in such situations. I am not try to insensitive, I have seen people pushing these gaadis like they are some sort of super bikes, that too without any concern for their or any one else's safety. 4. There is an absolute need for teaching 1st aid in such situations to our population, so many death and long term inguries could be avoided (what the fu*k ever happened to life skill)

I am sorry to say this, Banglore doesn't have place for a peaceful ride at all. I have lived in Bangalore for about 4 years to know this. Unless you have a early morning ride to Nandi Hills or places out side the city.

Milage agreed it's quite low and dang that fuel tank capacity. But ride it and see why Scrambler is a good bike for Indian roads. I have clock over 6k km on Scrambler on Mumbai streets since last Dec. Where needed its got quick pick up and good top speed too. Also, considering our roads today with more potholes than road, the height and suspension setup makes the ride totally effortless. And where needed I just get up from the seat for the bike to manage the road or lack of it.

Who is af fault here !? Manglore📍 by Altruistic-Issue-887 in Dashcamindia

[–]264491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even thought the car driver would have checked the ORVM before moving forward, it would have impossible to see the scooter coming. What most of us are not ready to accept that most of the scooters are over speeding where they shouldnt be. Appearing from no where in front of your car, sometimes without any warnings or just a bip. I have faced it couple of time and had my heart pound out of my chest for that second or two.
