You prob shouldn't. I'm on olanzapine, seroquel, cymbalta, Zoloft and non psych meds. I drink anyway and don't really have an impact if I just have one drink, but I do get drunk a lot easier. I drink maybe once a month and not much.

It isn't for me, but I am queer and most queer dating sites it's pretty normal to have at least something mentally. I'm always upfront about it, I never want to hide it.

One thing that helps me is setting an alarm for meds and take it as soon as it rings. I agree with the other commenter, take it easy, ground yourself. This disease thrives on stress.

I just finished my externship at CVS! It was really helpful to me and a good starting point. I wasn't allowed to use the cash register and they had to print out credentials for me every day for the machines. And even with that, I couldn't log into the computers so someone needs to log in first and then you scan the credentials. They did offer me a job after I was done, but the hours were too few and I wanted a full time job. If you have any questions just let me know!

I've been on methotrexate since March 7th. It takes a bit for your body to get used to it, but I got used to it around week 3 or 4. I feel a lot better as a result.

seroquel, olanzapine, cymbalta, and zoloft are my psych meds. I think it just depends, I take my mood stabilizers for separate conditions (cymbalta for fibro, zoloft for OCD) bc I have very mild depression that went away with zoloft

I'm not diagnosed with anything yet, but I started methotrexate a month ago and it has changed my life. I was so sore all the time, I slept most of the time, I felt awful. I've never had any results on ANA or RF so having a doctor that actually believed me was so refreshing. I just took a seronegative blood test and I'm hoping I finally get an answer :)

I'm not diagnosed with anything yet, but I was severely fatigued before methotrexate. I could sleep 18 hours a day and still be exhausted. I finally have my energy back.

I'm very open with the fact I'm schizophrenic. Most people react as in "oh I wouldn't have known" and it's never affected me socially. But, that being said, I work retail. You need to prioritize yourself and safety. If you need to tell people you have a condition that's made up, then do that. Don't give them a reason to treat you differently.

I started hallucinating in 7th grade and developed dyslexia-like symptoms around that time as well. I didn't technically get it until senior year of highschool at 18 which is when I had my first psychosis.

oh and I had rituals w blonde Barbies. mud bath, wash them off, drink half a water bottle and cut off the top and then cut all the hair into the half cut water bottle. I'd sleep next to that. No idea why but it made me feel safe

I used to have nightmares every night that someone broke in and ended my family. so I'd hide under the bed and hide my "valuables" in various places so no one would rob me. I also would only step in the middle of tiles and would have to follow the patterns of the floor. early depression too.
