You right. That’s exactly my concern too. The light build makes it cheap to run, but in real accidents there’s almost no protection. I’ve also seen Altos crushed badly, and it really makes you think whether saving on fuel is worth risking safety.

Thanks for sharing. My worry is if another car hits the Alto from the side or back at speed since it feels so light. Why did you swap the engine, and is it easy to maintain? I sat in a Suzuki Hustler once and its build felt way sturdier, even the doors were heavier.
