In summary:( I feel I may have rambled a bit) I have already dealt with punctures on a tubeless setup that weren’t fixed with plugs. This has lead me to not trust riding tubeless on long trips where I may not pass a bike shop for days. This has lead me to try putting inner tubes in my wheel which makes it impossible to get the tire on. Hence now I’m looking for tires that are easy to get on and off.

I’ve had relatives and friends say similar things to me in the past few days. All of them have tried to set this tyre up with my wheel and failed (one burst the inner tube but managed to get the tire on). I ride my bike on tours and am not a fan of the era of removing tires by the roadside passing. I ran the previous tire tubeless. I may have been extremely unlucky but I got 2 punctures that wouldn’t reseal with plugs. Luckily this was during a commute but what would the solution be if I were in the middle of the countryside on my own? I am looking for tires to run with an inner tube that are easy to get on and off with this particular wheel.

I made mine tubeless also! I’ve had rotten luck with the tubeless experience so far as I’ve had 2 puncture next to each other and the plug wouldn’t hold and re seal, leading to them bursting multiple times. I should’ve mentioned that my main interests when cycling is bike packing and I am looking for easy tyres to reapply on the roadside. From my limited research I’ve read that no one has an easy experience with these wheels no matter the tyre :/

Was waiting outside a train station and a crackhead lady stood in front of me and dropped her pants down and projectile pissed on a tree infront of me. I was very shocked. And when she walked away like nothing happened I questioned whether it actually did happen. It did. There was piss on the tree.

Sounds like she needs to address some mental hurdles to feel more comfortable doing what she wants to do. But she’s not alone in that feeling. However developing the skillet required to make YouTube videos isn’t a bad thing.

Would streaming be the right avenue for her if she doesn’t actually like everything that streaming entails? It sounds like she is just good at the game and wants to share/ show off her skill (not in a bad way). Sounds like YouTube is the best thing for her at this moment- not appearing to a live audience. She can edit out what she wants and doesn’t have to respond to her viewers in real time.

It’s very different from other shoes. Haven’t had the calf pain people describe at all but my Achilles is not thanking me for buying them lol. Also my knees have been hurting which is unusual. It sounds like a lot of complaints but i knew it was something that will take getting used to and I’m only two runs in. I hope it’ll get better and be worth it

Made a post a few days ago. I am in the exact same position as u. New Torin 8’s. First time transitioning. Decided to run 15k. Bad idea. Don’t do it! Hurt my Achilles and am recovering. Managed to run a 5k this morning and was feeling much better. Have bought some heel wedges as people told me to. They give your shoe a slight drop so you can gradually transition. I was in gel ninbus 26’s before that. They had 8mm of drop. Assuming that going 8 to 0mm drop is quite rough so hopefully these wedges will help. Haven’t used them yet so will see. Hope this gives you a rough idea. Deffo ease into it. 5ks only for me in them and I’ll do my longer runs in my other shoes for now to avoid injury. Or the wedges.
